Helloooooo beautiful ladies! My ring is here!! I told myself I don’t want to see it until he proposes… but c’mon! Let’s use the excuse (and a valid one) that I should see it before the 30-day warranty expires. He has already said he won’t propose this year (in this last month). Go figure. He says he needs time to plan. We got the ring from BlueNile and I helped pick the diamond and setting. So there’s not much mystery to it… except I’m worried about the setting and how it fits in person.
What would you ladies do?!

Have him blind fold you then try it on. That way you will know if it fits but you wont ruin the surprise.

That’s a good solution! But I’m worried about the look of the setting as well. I’m particular about the height and width.
And PS I think it’s hidden in the safe but I can’t figure out how to open the darn thing! Hahaha!!!

Oooh, which setting did you go with from BN?? That’s where we ordered mine from… just waiting for it to arrive!! 🙂

Haha, you know what MY recommendation was. lol. Blindfolding is a good idea. Just…feel it with the other hand? Drag it across your clothes and see if it catches a lot?

OR have Hue look at it and decide if it’s too tall? She’s kind of edgier than you are, tho…

I go for the Blindfold idea too. Don’t want to ruin the proposal 😀

I’d probably want to try it on before the warranty expires. If I picked out the setting, I’d want to make sure it looked and fit like I invisioned it before the return period expires and I can’t return it. But only if my fiance was okay with it, I wouldn’t do it behind his back.

Ladies, I tried to persuade him with your votes but he wouldn’t have it.
He had it with him all of today. I came home and he showed me pictures of it… it’s beautiful!! But I want to try it on! He wanted me to try it on before (when it didn’t arrive yet), but now he’s too protective. He’s very excited but won’t let me see it.
He said, “It fits my pinky, so it’s perfect!” HAHAHA what?? That doesn’t make any sense for fitting my finger. And he said, “I have to write myself a note to where I put it… so I know 6 months from now.” SAY WHAT NOW?!?!
@Mewcakes: He showed her but she doesn’t like diamonds.
@PermaStudent: I chose the petite noveau solitaire setting (6 prong)! From the pictures he took it looks perfect for me. I like thin bands and small prongs.
