I would have done the same exact thing with pretending to go back to sleep, I have no idea why though. Hahaha. This is so exciting I can't wait to see your engaged post.

I don't think I'm going to go home and try to look for it. lol I'm just trying to keep myself busy over these last few weeks. It's been killing me NOT to mention anything about engagement because of the Christmas challenge. I have actually started a nail and hand routine and last night while I was filing my nails, SO was like "Are you getting your hands ready for a million blog photos you are going to post?" and I was like "What are you talking about?" Yeah...He got me. I have been preparing my hands for hand photos. lol

LOL Since I know your SO (aka Grumpy Bear) , he is probably going to make you wait a little while but I don't think it's going to be long. Chances are u will be getting your's before SO gives me mine lol Either way we are sure to be bridal show jumping very soon :)

Ahhhhh! Did you do the happy dance and jump around like mad?! LOL. I saw a FedEx guy outside yesterday and SO was looking at him to see what he had, I swear he stared at him for a good 10mins just to see if he was coming to our house. I just played dumb hehe. I hope temptation doesnt get to you and you dont go looking for your ring!
It sucks because it's getting cold here and my hands always look terrible in the winter so I have been keeping them moisturized! I'm using Aveeno Intense Relief hand cream and Sally Hansens diamond shine color. I'm keeping the color light and keeping my nails clean!

I totally would have done the same thing! We women are strange creatures like that haha. FI let me try the ring on when it came because he wanted to make sure it fit.

2 years ago around Christmas, I was putting away laundry and found a small jewelry box in FI's drawer. It was a necklace. LOL.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: lol for my half birthday (okay I totally convinced him that half birthdays were real and just as special. lol) I found a small box and it was my thumb ring I wanted. ha ha ha. After that point I was ready to put a no small ring like box ban on the house!

When he gave me the necklace for Christmas, before I could open it, he said "Before you get excited, it isn't a ring." Ouch!
When he finally proposed, he pulled the ring box out, and all I could think was "if this is another damn necklace, I swear to god...."

It's going to be hard sitting in the house tonight knowing my ring is waiting for me. :-(

I am so envious of all of you. I have yet to recieve my ring it is still at the store :( I am hoping that soon I can go rescue it and finally put it on my finger. We have been engaged almost a year now and its still at the store waiting for the day that he gets enough money to buy it. He wanted to get me one of those rings that is your engagement and wedding band all in one type of rings and I said Oh Hell No lol (he had gotten his first wife a ring very simular and I was not going to stand for that, I am not her and do not have her taste in jewlery and there was no way in hell I was going to have a ring on my finger that would remind both of us of her.), so we went out after the new year and I picked out the set that fit me the best.
Ahh! I found the ring today too and I am flipping out about it. I was digging around for headphones in a laptop bag and I discovered it in a box, but I have NOT gone and opened the box yet.
That darn box is 3 feet away from me and he is asleep and I'm typing this post and staring at the bag and WONDERING!! I have all these questions in my head: "When will he do it? Where? Who else will be there? WHAT DOES THE RING LOOK LIKE?! Is it the gorgeous sapphire and diamond DREAM RING we found at a high-end boutique store, is it the standard diamond set from a mall store, is an antique? WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN?" Arghhh!!!
And to boot, I could really use the headphones right now and I can't because he'll know I found the ring!
Oops, I double-posted. It must be my crazy ring adrenaline--It's sitting RIGHT OVER THERE, the house is dark and quiet, he's snoring away in bed. It would be so easy to go open it and see!

So I took some Valerian Root to sleep last night. It works really well...a little too well. So I slept until about 8:45 and SO was already out of bed when I woke up. Strange. Usually he wakes me up with a kiss or asks me if I want coffee. So I crawl out of bed and go to the bathroom. Halfway there I stop and talk myself into getting my slippers in the living room because the bathroom floor would be cold. So I go into the living room and through the window I see the FEDEX guy and SO talking and So handing the clipboard electronic thing back to him and FEDEX giving him a small brown box. So instead of getting my slippers, I run back into the bedroom, hop in bed and pretend to sleep! ha ha ha ha. I don't know. It seemed like the right thing to do. So I hear SO come back in the house and he is TRYING to be super quiet (when usually in the morning he is knocking shit over, walking heavy foot, grinding up coffee beans, singing, using his loud ass electric shaver, ect.) I hear him go into his office then come out and shut the door. So he comes into the bedroom, places his hand on my side, and kisses me on the forehead. I PRETEND to wake up all groggy and he is BLUSHING like something fierce! I didn't say anything and went about my normal routine. He kept following me and I was like what's going on? And he was like "You know.... (And I'm like OMG! NO! Not right now! I'm naked *I sleep naked* with morning breath and eye boogers in my eyes!) "You know...you are so beautiful in the morning..." then he went and made me a cup of coffee. We left the house together and I'm sitting here at work wanting to run home on my lunch break just to go take a peek!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!
