I remember this… so exciting!!!  πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

We picked my ring together (he picked it, and took me to visit before purchasing to confirm that I loved it).  He purchased it, but it had to be sent away to be resized… at the same time I was going to Germany for a week for work.  So I knew it was done and sitting at home waiting for me, but I couldn’t have it!!  It was the LONGEST flight home ever but I was so super happy to have it upon my finger the day I got home!!

I’m in that boat with ya girl!

We went and looked at rings about a month ago, just to see what I liked and to figure out a price range.

Two weeks ago, I accidently saw a receipt from the jewelry store in his sock drawer while putting away his laundry…eeeekkk!!! I tried not to look for the ring…and I didn’t see one. LOL I assumed it just wasn’t ready yet.

Now the sock drawer is taunting me…as well as those commercials

I’m desperately trying to refrain from actively searching for the ring!

BUT, this is driving me crazy! Any time we make plans to do something, I think, This is it! Or I’ve been looking ahead for this month trying to predict Christmas or New Years?

Good luck! I’m hoping at least by Christmas…if not before! Christmas just seems SOOO far away! πŸ™‚

Just because he has it doesn’t mean it’s coming soon. My ring was purchased at the beginning of the summer, and I didn’t get a proposal until Labor Day. Try and find something to distact yourself with for now. The emotionally hard part is over–you know that it IS coming.

he’s had the ring since last Tuesday! It’s somewhere in this apartment as I sit here… ants in the pants is right! πŸ˜€

Happy countdown!

Yes…I feel your pain! Proposal is coming before Christmas. I was doing fine attempting to keep my mouth shut (and the crazy in check) and then randomly asked him if he visits my ring and whether or not it was lonely. LOL He is loving every minute of it…I am your typical Type A/Virgo that likes to control everything and he is loving the drivers seat.

My FH proposed within days of getting the ring.  He told me he was so nervous something would happen that he just *had* to get it onto my finger ASAP.

Meanwhile a friend of mine waited 6 months after he got the ring to propose.

I am! We finished up dinner the other day and he was going on and on about how he knows exactly when he’s going to propose and how I don’t know if the ring has been made yet (he worked with a jeweler to select the diamond etc) or if he has it already. He was just talking and teasing me…

But his phone was sitting on top of a bag on the chair beside me. It buzzed and a photo popped up, I tried not to look but I saw the ring out of the corner of my eye. It took everything in me not to turn my head completely around. I tried to act like I didn’t see it and oblige him by saying “That’s not fair! Tell me! Do you have the ring here?!”

I got up to put the dishes in the sink and he just sat there smiling at his phone and saying “I’m looking at a photo of it in my phone right now”… then he got a phone call and he cryptically said “Uh huh. It’s good. Hey, thanks!”

So I have NO idea what the heck is going on. Christmas is around the corner but so is the New Year, a notable anniversary, Valentine’s Day and a big trip to the same city where my ring was made.

I’m CLUELESS!
