Has anyone else done the shoe game at their wedding or has seen it played? We played it at our reception and it was so fun/funny!
How it works in case you don’t know:
Bride & Groom sit in chairs back-to-back & each hold one of their own shoes & one of the other’s shoes (so the bride is holding one of her shoes & one of the groom’s shoes, same for the groom)
MC asks questions about the couple, such as “Who is the better driver?”, “who is messier?”, etc
Bride & Groom hold up the shoe of the person they think best fits the question
We didn’t use our shoes because they looked too similar (sneakers), so we had a Barbie represent me and a Ninja Turtle representing my groom. The questions were so funny, we had our wedding party make up the questions & give them to our MC (we didn’t see them beforehand). One of them was “If you were stuck on a deserted island, just the two of you, who would eat the other person first?”, others were “Who does Batman (our cat) love more?”, “Who wears the pants in the relationship?”, “Who’s better looking?”, “Who manages the finances?”, “Who snores more?” etc (there were about 20-25 questions, they go really quickly!).
It was just a fun added touch to the reception and the guests were laughing hysterically on some of them (we disagreed on a few…haha).
