A lot of DJs will have played this game before and will have a list of questions you can review. If you're not having a DJ, there are lots of question lists online if you google "wedding shoe game".
If I were a guest, I would much rather just watch the bride and groom play this game, by the way! Especially if not every guest knows each of the other couples you're thinking about. But obviously it's up to you two!
I agree. I really can't imagine it being played by other couples besides the new bride and groom! I think it would be too complicated/confusing.

I sent a video of the newlywed game/shoe game - where bride and groom sit/stand back to back with shoes in hand, and raise them in response to questions - he said ok.
really, I was kind of shocked.
He was thinking it might be interesting to do with our BM & his wife, and two others in our bridal party that are married to eachother. Sound feasible? I was thinking I could just make flipflops for each of us to hold, since I don't really want to traipse around our venue in stockings/bare feet.
For bees that did this game... how did you come up with the questions? Any advice? Is there a best time to do this? (because we might end up taking up space on the dance floor to make this happen)
