Our short list names were:
I have always really liked the name Willow -- a childhood friend of mine was named this & I always thought it was so unique!
Amelie, Daisy and Fiona were our serious contenders for girls names. I also loved Poppy. Flora, and Raine but my husband was like no freaking way so they weren't really in the running.
For boys-Dean or Austin
hahah I love the “no freaking way“ vetos --we had lots of those (that was my reaction to Felix lol).

Just curious, what were the names on your short list that you did not pick? Either just couldn't agree on or didn't end up liking enough?
