I’m a SD bee, but I’m waiting, so I’m not sure how helpful I am!

@kelsgurl: I’m East River, SF area. What about you? I’m really surprised that there aren’t more SD bees; Weddingbee really seems so down to earth!

One of my friends is getting married, and so I was surfing the web trying to help her and that is how I found Weddingbee. I love the blgs and have just started venturing into the baords (as evidenced by the post count, haha). You’re really active on WB, and I thought that was so cool when I saw this post. Yay SD!

I was a Sodak bride, originally from SF, wedding west of Aberdeen.  This is an awesome place for ideas πŸ™‚

The other day I was thinking “How come all the blogging bees seem to be from the same places – Texas, Cali, Pennsyvania, NYC? How come there are never any bees from, like, South Dakota???” And here you guys are! One of y’all should apply and represent.

I’m from NC, never been to SD. But I’d love to hear about a wedding there!

With all this crazy weather this weekend, I am so glad that my guy wants a non-winter wedding. While the snow may be beautiful, it’s way too cold! Also, none of our families would be able to make it if something like this blizzard happens. Example, I’m stuck in Michigan with a cancelled flight!

My parents have gotten over 10 inches in under 48 hours in Sioux Falls…I’m worried that we won’t see me them this year for Christmas πŸ™

I know and we got married last August and as much as I wanted an outdoor ceremony I knew the weather was going to be so unpredictable that it would have been so stressful.  We ended up have 80 degree weather with about 90% humidity, thank goodness for air conditioning

@Ireland: While I’m technically an ND bride, I grew up in IA right by SuFu and I’m wondering about making it down there tomorrow as well. Any word on when things are supposed to clear up or at least stop enough for decent travel?
