So I am almost ready to put my invitations together. I have a linen finish paper with the actual invitation printed on it. This will be layered on a thicker cardstock for the back. I am wondering…what is the best product to use to stick these two together without them coming apart in the mail? I’ve heard of glue dots being good, but then in the Bio of the Week post, that bride said the glue dots were a disappointment… So what did you ladies have success with????

I am using 3M Spray Mount. We checked out several different products and this seemed to be the most adherent with the least bleed through. Bleed through is the one thing you really have to watch out for, but we only had that problem for a few until we got the right amount figured out.
We did this part on our front porch on a towel because the fumes are just overwhelming!

I bought a Scotch tape gun for around $60, but I just found it for $40 plus shipping. The refills are $3-5 each. They have worked the best for what I needed to do to put mine together. Its the Scotch ATG 700.

I use a Scotch quick dry adhesive. It’s a liquid glue that comes in a bottle. You can find it in any craft store. It works great for me and there isn’t any bleed through if you’re careful with the amount you use, and you won’t need a lot to get the paper to stick.

I would go with spray adhesive. I used a Xyron for a project similar and the edges are all sticky. It made everything stick together!
