I completely understand where you’re coming from, I’ve found the majority of wedding vendors I’ve dealt with to be a hot mess- disorganized, unresponsive, clueless, etc. And that’s folks charging thousands of dollars! As for hotel, why are you responsible for paying off rooms that aren’t booked? Are you getting some sort of special rate on top of the room block rate? We reserved 4 hotels for our guests and one of the hotels held 10 rooms that no one booked, so they just released them back. I would speak to the manager of the hotel, tell them you’ll pull all the rooms and relocate everyone and leave bad reviews all over the internet if they don’t work with you in a reasonable time frame.

Second: I’m sorry you are running into so much trouble! I really hope that things work out for you with both the flower and hotel situation! I have a few fires I’m trying to put out myself (and one I’m trying to start under two GMs to get their butts in gear!)

Dang that sucks. I hate dealing with issues over the phone and playing phone tag to get it settled. Is the hotel in your area to where you could just show up there (or have someone in your family do it)? Have you tried talking to a manager?
