I was up till 1am studying the other night and my SO went to be around 10.30pm.

When I finally got into bed he was fast asleep.. I laid down and all of a sudden he rolled over and gave me a huge bear hug (very tight) and mumbled “mmm my favourite” and fell back asleep. It was incedibly cute. I did have to get him to roll over though lol as he was still squishing me very tight haha

I told him the next morning and he can’t remember it.. he did say he thought that he “is the cutest bf ever ” though haha.

This is an email he sent me the other day after he had been having some issues at work.

(INTJ/EMTJ are the Myer-Briggs personality types)

Dear Jengles,

I am writing to you today to express my sincerest thank you for all the love and support you provided me on the weekend. It reinforced my strong conviction that you are the one for me, and we are a perfect match. It has also become clear to me that despite initial indications of being an INTJ, I was mistyped, and I am actually an ENTJ. You are the perfect complement to me, the ying to my yang, the creatine to my BCAAs, the junkfood to our cheat day Sundays.

P.S. I am so happy!

@dannielle89:  “The junk food to our cheat days” HAHAHA I love that!

@Kat_Kit2000:  That’s sweet 🙂

My SO will say the cutest things when tipsy. That’s actually how he revealed his timeline to me!!

My SO , once or twice a day says I am pretty, but normally via talking to the cats:

Says to the cats… “There she is, isn’t she pretty” 🙂 or “Isn’t your Mama pretty?”

And this is normally at the end of the day when I am dog tired and all my make up has fallen off my face and I am cuddled up on the sofa under a blanket. It’s a sexy sexy look!

@MsBeer:  Haha, mine does that too!  We’ve got a pair of talkers, so it’s more like:

Meow!
Yes, Mama does look extra pretty today!
Meow! Meow! Meow!
Yes, we do love Mama lots!

Makes me smile every time.

@MsBeer:  I just pulled FI over, made him read your post and said “do that”. So he responds…

FI: We do talk about you when you’re not here. (we being our cat and him, we are currently living apart)

Me: What do you mean?

FI: Well whenever you’re coming to stay I tell her that you’re coming around and tell her to get excited because she gets to see her mummy.

Me: Really?

FI: Yeah, she misses you when you’re not here and I need to tell her what’s going on, she loves her mummy.

@MariContrary:  It is so cute isn’t it. I especially love it when in the morning my SO wakes me up by bring the cat (held like a baby) and lowers the cat to my face and says “Morning baby, I brought you a cat” 🙂 Best way to wake up.

@ms-valentine:  Ha ha that made me laugh, pull over, read this… do this ,…. I love the fact they talk about you behind your back 😉 !!!

@Kat_Kit2000:  OMG, I thought my SO was the only guy who said/did stuff like that.  I noticed really early on in our relationship how excited he’d be the first day and how much that would taper off the next day! lol  I used to respond with, “How on earth will you ever live with me?  I’m gonna have to be gone all the time!”  😉

My boyfriend can be kind of an Eeyore. Before we met he had been single for over 7 years and was kind of sad & lonely. So yesterday he tells me something that, if I didn’t know him so well, might have seemed bad:

“I was having a bad day at work and had a bout of melancholia. I thought something I used to think a lot: ‘I wish I was in love.’ Then, suddenly, I remembered I AM IN LOVE! and I was so much happier & peaceful.”

The second of apparently forgetting he was in love sort of jarred me, but I realized I’ve kind of done the same thing… I just would never say it out loud! But he tells me EVERYTHING, so I took a second and focused on the part where remembering me made him happy 😛

So, this isn’t as cute as all of your stories, but this morning I woke up at 5am with CRAZY CRAMPS, and SO searched our place for my heating pad that I “put away in a safe place” (or so I thought).

He always takes care of me, even at 5am 🙂 It’s the sweetest thing

One thing I do remember quite vividly was when we were on holiday in Tunisia a few years ago, and I was up at 3am in the bathroom being horrifically ill. He decided to stay up with me and ‘read me a story’ which were extracts from our guidebook that he tweaked with whatever he fancied. I thought it was quite cute.

He’s always saying funny little things to me. I can’t remember them all, but they do make me smile 🙂
