Aww, that’s wonderful!

My FI got me the Tacori pendant necklace that matches my ring. We saw it and I tried it on at our jeweller’s store and I said I would totally get something like this for the wedding to wear because it would go with any dress I had in mind. This was back in November. I never expected it because it costs quite a bit so I was just planning to find something like it later on. Then, around comes my birthday and he completely surprises me with it! He said he wanted to cross one thing off my wedding list and wanted to give it to me before I bought any other necklaces/accessories. He had been holding on to it for a couple months and I had no idea he had gone back and bought it.

The cutest wedding-related thing my bf did is take me to a gorgeous rose garden and suggest we get married there πŸ™‚

I feel lucky that my FI wants to be involved with the wedding planning. He knows that I have a short temper so he is handling all the vendors so I can focus on the details.

When i told him that I was going to have an appointment with a florist he really wanted to go with me and have the app together. It’s only floral stuff for the bridal party really… but he wanted to be included πŸ™‚

@jenilynevette:  Awww. Yesterday my FH cried while we were doing our 60 day walk through at the venue. We arent getting married in a traditional location, so when we decided where we want to stand during the ceremony, he started to cry a little. It was so sweet. πŸ™‚

He actually wants to be involved with the wedding planning!! πŸ™‚  I love it!!  And, he’s all about Chiavari chairs now (I’ve created a monster!), so he’s renting them for me.  πŸ™‚

Hmmm, when i said “i cant wait until the wedding is over” and he got all excited and agreed.

LOL. Legit we dont like the planning. We are mostly just doing it for the family and cant wait till we both get to relax back at the hotel at the end of the night. And its nice to know he is looking forward to that moment as much as i am.

I came home from work the other day, and he told me that when he got out of the shower, he was suddenly like, “WHERE’S MY WEDDING RING?!” We’re not married! haha

Then he randomly wears his band, which I think is adorable.

He has been very sweet and supportive in many ways – the two most recent ones being:

1) We were going to send back the wedding dress I had ordered from JCrew and decided against, he just had to send an important email and then we were going to box it up. I, for some reason, thought it would be a great idea to address some STDs meanwhile… Of course, I ended up with ink all over my hands so FI ended up packing the dress himself. Not a word of complaint, just folding that massive skirt as neatly as he could, asking me if I thought it was ok. I felt very loved and looked after that moment. πŸ™‚

2) He came home and placed an envelop on my plate while I was preparing dinner – it contained a letter saying that he signed us up for dance classes. We’ve taken 5 lessons so far and we both have so much fun doing it!

I was getting frustrated and feeling like my FI was completely uninterested in planning and then he went and surprised me by secretly meeting up with the photographer we liked and giving him the deposit. Total surprise and now he’s planning to research and book the DJ.

I guess that guys just aren’t as interested in discussing roses vs. tulips and which shade of blush goes best with the venue… haha!
