    So I opened up my inbox this afternoon to discover there was a long-awaited email from Weddingbee. Much to my sadness, I was rejected to be a Bee...for the second time.

    I really want to apply again, since I still have five months till my wedding. There's only one thing I'm wondering...should I wait four weeks, or should I apply again soon? See, I originally applied with my personal blog. But Mrs. Bunny very kindly offered me some advice, and recommended creating a separate blog just about wedding things, as my personal blog is too...well, personal. I did, but I already had a pending Weddingbee application. A few days ago I tried to send an email letting Mrs. Penguin know that there had been a fairly major change in my application, and sent her the link to the new blog. I don't know if that second email was received, and if it had any impact on the decision.

    So...what should I do? Should I reapply with a cleaned-up application and the link to the wedding blog right away, or should I wait it out?

    I would say to go ahead and do it if you have enough stuff on your wedding blog!! If not, go ahead and add some more posts, then apply within a week or so. Good luck!!!

    I agree with Laylabelle...If it is all ready to go, I would just apply again :) Good luck!!!

    Do you know if anyone else received their decisions?

    I sorry. :(

    I read your blog and was really entertained, if that helps any. :-/

    Do you have to wait the four weeks, or is it just recommended?

    You could ask why it was rejected, then go from there!

    Would it be okay if I just replied to the rejection message and asked? When I tried to send the email about the change from my personal blog to the wedding blog...I'm guessing that was not the address I should have sent it to...

    @fifty: I'm glad you were entertained! :)

    Umm... you guys do realize that these are public boards right? :-)

    The four weeks are to give you time to make changes to your blog...  but definitely reply back and see if the changes to your blog were considered in your last app.

    Good luck!

    Oh it's fine to talk about... sorry didn't mean to suggest otherwise!

    Anyway I'm not involved in Bee selection...  I'm sure Cathy and Bee will get back to you soon!

    Whew, I thought that we did like a major faux pas.

    Thanks for the clear-up, Mr. Bee. :)
