I don't think it looks staged at all!  The groom's reaction, everything seems real to me!  Maybe I'm just gullible.  :)

Star and naangel55, I wondered that, too, but the way he trips looks SO real....

Anyway - a cautionary tale to anyone who's getting married over water like that!

LOL I have seen this many before and it makes me cringe every time!  I really don't think it's staged... you would have to be pretty crazy to get all dolled up with full on dress/hair/makeup and willingly jump into a pool (along with your officiant)!  Just bad luck... I wonder what happened next...

I can see a couple of my bridesmaids laughing.....

That is horrible! One of the options for a ceremony at our venue has a small pond with a waterfall where I was thinking of having it...luckily our best man is FI's brother who is very responsible. Haha

Wow...that's horrible. I'd be so pissed if that happened to me. As bad as it sounds though, I don't know if I could keep from laughing if I were just there observing it. I'm horrible....

Although I'm sure I'd be pissed, I could see myself being really embarassed (even though it was the best man's fault) and muttering something like "come on in, the water's fine!".

And as a bridesmaid, I wouldn't be able to hold back laughter. But I'd jump in to help. :)

Oh my! That sucks. The best man's trip seems real to me but why in the world would he grab on to the bride's leg? He looked fine after his fall so I doubt he'd need to hold on to something after the fact.  If I were the groom, I would've jumped in too and had the ring exchange there. Innocent

At that point, what can you do? I'd finish the ceremony in the pool too :)

Well they always say you can't plan everything and you have to go with the flow when things go wrong.

I think I'd be the one laughing in the pool, asking people to take off their shoes/sandals and roll up their pants to join me!

Oh god I'm getting married right on the edge of some water, pleeeeeeeeeease don't let me fall in!  Thanks for the new nightmare, haha!!!!

I might laugh too, but then the thought of going through the reception in a wet wedding dress, with ruined hair and make-up make it seem a lot less funny...

Sorry, but this is just funny. I think if it were me, I start crying, then laugh. I mean seriously, what else could you do at that point?

I've seen it before and laugh just as hard every time!  Hilarious.  I've read that it's staged.

I would be pretty upset...I also wonder if it's staged. It looks pretty real...but a part of me wants to believe it was all planned out.

Oh lord, I'm so clumsy I feel like something this horrible might happen to me at my wedding! And I have to say, I can't blame the bridesmaid who's laughing. I laugh when surprised/in inappropriate situations all the time :/
