Victoria's Secret has always been my go-to for strapless. The new BioFit is awesome, it's convertible. They aren't gorgeous, but even the nude ones have a sheen to them, you never know, check them out.
I'm doing a longline bra so I don't have to worry about it staying up -- it sits on my hips, and will be tucked into some spanx (so I can be extra sure the butt looks fab in the dress!) :)
I have a strapless bra from VS that I love (I'm actually wearing it today with a strapless dress and haven't had to lift it once). It's from 2 or 3 years ago, Angels something, it has the sticky thing around the top and bottom seams and 3 rows of hooks so it stays in place nicely. Basically, I would suggest going in and trying on a couple. Wear a strapless dress so you can see how they look. I have other strapless bras but this one really keeps its shape under clothes the best.
I agree with MsHymanRoth - have cups added to the dress. I did that with mine because the dress is low cut in the back and front and no matter what my bra would be showing and I'd worry about pulling it down all night! I did not want pictures with my bra poking out! So the seamstress added some cups and it's perfect! And we're talking C cups too. The bodice of my dress fits like a glove so it worked for me!

I've peeked at the strapless bras on VS and they haven't impressed me, plus kind of $$$ for bras I can't try on (I live waaaay out in the middle of nowhere - we're internet shopping here!). But I did find some simple, SALE bras at Frederick's of Hollywood:

The first one has memory foam and the second two have silicone strips. I have no experience with these. Which one would be better?
I'm either going to do a VS bra or try out the Nordstrom bra section - they have a great selection. Before I had a breast reduction I could only find my bras at Nordstrom because they have the best selection - I even got a strapless there that actually supported my big boobs!
Marie Jo Strapless Bra! It's about $100 but totally worth it and fits really well. I've also worn the VS strapless bras and they're pretty good, but I think the Marie Jo one is better.
Now I'm reading on here the strapless vs. bustier debate. What's your opinion, less-endowed girls? Which one stays up better? Also which one is sexier? I don't want to look lame once the dress comes off! :)
I prefer the bustier. It sits on your hips and has boning, so it won't slip down like a strapless does. I hate tugging at a strapless bra all night!
I got my longline bustier at Lauren Silva group. I don't like Victoria's Secret very much and find that they don't fit me very well, but maybe it's just me! There are lots of great online bra shops, and though I live in the city and had access to many stores I ended up ordering online.

hey ladies!
I have a fitted bodice with a sort of bateau neckline on the dress, so a regular bra would have straps showing. Has anyone had an awesome experience with a strapless bra lately? And are there some pretty ones? I don't want to be pulling it up all night (and I love me some dancing!), but I don't want it to look ugly/boring either.
P.S. I am not well-endowed. :)
