Obviously I am waiting on an e-ring since I am in the waiting boards, but for the last three nights, I have also been "waiting" to get the ring out of my diamond candle. But no matter how long I stay up waiting, I can't get it to melt down to the part where the ring is. Each night I have to start all over because the wax re-solidifies. I was almost there last night, but I was up until midnight waiting and finally blew the flame out and went to bed. This has to be some sort of a cruel joke. If I can't get the e-ring when I want it, can't I just get the little $10 prize out of my freakin' candle?!?! Guess I will have to start early in the morning on Saturday.
@Wannabee Mrs.G.: Get tweezers and pull it out. =) Oh, and post a picture once you do get it!
@MarieChristine: FI used nail clippers to get mine out. They were handy. Hahaha. Worked though!
@MissPumpkinPie, @MarieChristine, and @MissPumpkinPie: You mean pull it out without melting it?
@Wannabee Mrs.G.: Light the candle, get it down to where the foil is sticking out, blow out the candle and then pull it out.
OMG, I hadn't heard of these candles, but I think I need one now - looks like so much fun!
@MissPumpkinPie: Right, the problem is that I haven't been able to get down to where the foil sticks out because I get home too late and can't stay up for 4+ hours. I lit it when I got home this evening but it isn't anywhere near the foil yet. I will try it over the weekend when I have more time. I was just jokingly venting about the fact that I can't even seem to get the candle ring (let alone the e-ring).
@elizabeth2004: I just bought my first one last week and I'm already obsessed. Gingerbread latte smells AMAZING. Fills my entire apartment.

Ok my story, I treated myself a really pretty gemstone ring a few months back. It made me feel better. But, after wearing it 2 times, I found that the gemstone was GONE!!! GONE!!! It was GONE!!! I returned the ring and got the money back...
Then I thought exactly what you said in the title,,, The universe does not want me to have any ring...
I haven't attempted to get myself a ring since...

You sound just like all of those who tell us waiting bees to just enjoy the relationship and the proposal will come when it is time. Easier said than done. In fact, everyone who tells me that is either married or a man. I am sure you know, but all my patience is being used waiting for the proposal. There is no patience left over for waiting on this darn candle ring.
As for your gemstone ring, I can totally relate. I know that it is a ridiculous thought, but when stuff like that happens, it totally feels like the universe is saying "NO RING FOR YOU" (like the soup nazi on Seinfeld). Unreal!
Post the ring when you do! I waited until the foil was showing and pulled it out with tweezers! :) can't wait to see it!

On the plus side, I totally want one of these cancels after hearing you all talk about them! They sound delicious and fun!

I just heard about these candles on the bee a few days ago and they don't ship to Canada. :(

This candle ring would really test my patience, maybe I best not get one of those! :P
If the candle is in a glass jar, put it on the stove on low heat and it will melt the wax and you can pull it out!

As much as I dislike stinky-things, I really want one of these candles. Maybe I should tell FI's mom or sister to get me one, since they are asking him what I'd like for xmas.

So I've read all the comments and I'm hooked! I went online and the gingerbread latte is SOLD OUT...So I put in my e-mail and am hoping they notify me soon! =( Can't wait to join in the fun!
Oh oh I found them! I am TOTALLY getting one! It's a good thing I love vanilla 'cause that's about all they have left right now, hahaha :)

Just ordered my Diamond Candle! So Vanilla was sold out so I got my second choice, White Chocolate! Soooo excited to get this! For any other Bees that are thinking about ordering one, they sent me a referral link to give my friends $5 off their candle! If anyone is interested, here it is!
Has anyone ever gotten a ring worth more than 10? I can't imagine finding a 1000 or 5000 dollar ring in a candle.

I think Weddingbee has seriously increased Diamond Candle's orders lately! I saw a post a couple weeks ago, bought 2, and bought 3 more on black friday with free shipping. Yay gifts! Unfortunately I had them shipped to my parents house an hour away, and won't be able to get them until this weekend at the EARLIEST and I am dying in anticipation without even starting to burn the candles! Evil...
@leilabee: I did get it out! I will post tomorrow. It took a lot of heat and tweezing. Maybe I should try that on my SO. :-)
