Although the set is nice, I think that your wedding day deserves something a little more "grand", so to speak. What about something like the chunky necklaces you showed us before or something like this:

I think it achieves the look you are talking about, but I felt the version I found was a more timeless look since the pearls are less sporadic, I am pretty tiny though and feel like some necklaces with big pearls or a chunky design would just be too much for me and my dress.

After my dress came in, I tried it on with several different options and loved the way the pearls looked. I bought this one at Kohls with a coupon for around $11. Pretty awesome.
**** Note- the necklace pictured with my dress is not this necklace. Pictured is a single strand of pearls.
What do you think? Is it a keeper? I found the blue broach at JCP and attached it to the bracelet. Originally I bought it to potentially pin on my blue reception flats, but they only had one in the store. Not sure if I will keep it or not.
