Try Priscilla of Boston on Miracle Mile (Coral Gables).
They have great price range and are open on the weekend and late.
Plus if you take a trip to Miracle Mile you will find about 10-15 other bridal dress stores that you can walk to.
Here are a few places in the area (somewhat south of you):
My number one recommendations, if you want a great experience is Bellissima Brides in Deerfield Beach. Their salon consultants are amazing-- they really listen to you and they care about YOU, not just about making the sale. [This is where I ended up buying my dress. The first time I went there I had no idea what I wanted, so after trying on dresses at a few other places, I made a second appointment and started looking at dresses that were more in line with what I wanted, now that I knew what I wanted!]
Right around the corner is Unique Bridal- also in Deerfield. I'm not too sure about their selection of bridal dresses, but their prices seemed pretty good and they seem to discount things if you ask.
A little farther north is Boca Raton Bridal- they are more of designer dresses, and their prices reflect this, but they have a great selection. I got my shoes here. I also heard today that they are expanding and should be done in the next few weeks.
Also in Boca is LeClaire bridal- just be careful of the consultant you get here. Some knew a lot about the dresses, and others seemed like they had no idea about any fabrics or designers or anything.
All four of these salons mentioned above are in Boca & Deerfield Beach, right along Federal Hwy.
Down in Fort Lauderdale, you can go to Patricia South (west FTL). They have a pretty good selection, and different dresses than other places I had looked.
Also in Fort Lauderdale, I went to Victoria's Bridal. I was not as impresses with this salon- their dresses seemed beat up and the consultant didn't really listen to my likes and dislikes so I didn't get much out of it. But I've heard good things about this store.
Out of all of these stores, I liked Bellissima Brides the best, and then probably Boca Bridal.
Hope this helps... I'll check back soon if you have any questions!

Any suggestions as to where I can shop for my wedding dress? I'm up in the West Palm area but I will travel.
