I just recently got engaged (yay, so in love!) and upon hours (ok, weeks) of relentless internet surfing I discovered what appears to be the perfect dress for me. The catch? I cannot find it anywhere – not in the designers catalogs or any Bridal Salons.
From what I can see in this picture below, this appears to be a Jim Hjelm creation circa 2008 but it is not shown or listed in any of the catalogs online. Do designers sometimes retire or stop making dresses? I’m completely obsessed with finding this dress but I feel like I’m running out of Google search terms.
Anybody have any thoughts/suggestions/advice on how to best go about finding this dress? Or do I simply give up and look for a more current design?

That’s Jim Hjelm 8715. It’s no longer on their website, so I assume it must be discontinued. Try used dress sites? OnceWed, Recycled Bride and preownedweddingdresses.com are good places to start.
Here’s some more pics of it:

Zippy – you are truly amazing! How did you find that so quickly? If only I had posted this weeks ago. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I can see that weddingbee is going to be one of my all-time favorite resources for this wedding planning thing…

@klofty: All I did was do a reverse image search of the picture you posted with TinEye. The first result told me the style number. A quick google search came up with the pictures.
We’re pretty good at sleuthing around here, so if you ever need help again just ask!
