I figured I'd do a little sign-off post before our wedding weekend officially kicks off tomorrow afternoon. I have class until 4:45, and then it's off to Grandma's to chill with the fam and make cupcakes for Friday after the ceremony.

My ceremony outfit and dress for the reception, shoes, and lingerie are all set. All that's left to do is to pack some overnight essentials and makeup, and I'm good to go!

So, the next time I see you all (though I might make a few little posts here and there early tomorrow), it'll be as a married lady! :)

Any last-minute words of advice?

@bakerella: I didn't get a chance to comment on your photo threads much, but I loved seeing the full recap and wanted to thank you for sharing that with us! Friday and Saturday are going to be fairly low-key, which is exactly what we wanted. And don't worry--I will definitely pig out. :) I just hope these next few days don't go by too quickly.

Congrats!!! No real advice here, just have a wonderful, wonderful time.

I'm back, ladies! Everything was SO beautiful. :) MOH and her hubby (our photographer) showed up a little late to our ceremony because of the bad weather, but they didn't miss anything--we waited for them. DH's mom, stepdad, and two brothers weren't able to make it in, and the rest of his family had to leave early yesterday morning (missed the dinner reception), but they made it home safe--whew!

Here are a few pictures taken on our camera (warning, they're amateur-ish and pretty crappy, haha). Not sure when our pro pics will be back, but I plan to do recaps ASAP!

Funny story: the weather yesterday was so bad that I cancelled my hair and makeup appointment and had to do it myself. But I think it turned out pretty well! This isn't really the most flattering picture of me, but I chalk that up to the ruching on the dress. I swear I do not have a tummy pouch!

Thanks, all! :) It was horrifically cold outside, but at least the restaurant and hotel were cozy.

@In the media: Of course! ;) The applesauce cupcakes, despite being lopsided, were a total hit. The petit fours were really rich, but also good. Cake is always a good thing, though.

@missmouse29: Thanks! I was freaking out a little bit at first ("What the hell am I going to do with my hair?!") but I just started pinning it up everywhere and thankfully, it all worked out for the best.

@Miss Tattoo: Lol, I figured that would happen to at least a few people, but I don't want to start recaps until the pros are back. :) Thank you!

Also, I am SO glad we decided to have a small wedding--we really got to enjoy ourselves, relax, and chill with our guests without worrying about the frills. Best decision ever, I think. :)

@HisIrishPrincess: It was kind of a bummer, but at least we have the big reception in November to have everyone in town. Gotta look on the bright side of things!

@BayStateBride: It's trippy, isn't it? I'm still kind of in the "Whoa--we're married?" phase. :D After almost two years of being engaged and planning, it's tricky to transition out of all that.

@MissTatas: Thank you! I'm so excited to see our pro pics, too. I'll squeal like a nine-year-old and post them as soon as I get them, hehe.

@AudzinLuv: Aww, thanks! I had my hair done on the day of the ceremony but did my own makeup (at 6 am, no less), and I love what the stylist did with it. And green was the best decision I ever made!
