@mousepeach:  Congrats on finding a program that works for you! I also lost the most weight the fastest while calorie counting (from 173 to 122!)

@mousepeach:  Congratulations!!! I know you’ve probably heard this a lot, but be careful that you are not eating too little. General consensus is at least 1,200 calories a day. But if this is working and you feel healthy, good for you!!

Yay! Great job! I just started working out religiously and counting calories and I have lost 10 lbs and 9 total inches this month! I have done calorie counting in the past, but I fell off the wagon during the holidays. Someone gave me advice to make sure that you take progress pictures and measurements monthly, honestly it sounds stupid, but this has helped me so much to actually see my body transform in pictures!

@mousepeach:  Thanks! I used Livestrong’s MyPlate!

@chelseakayd:  I started off walking 3 days a week, then picked up jogging, and loved it so much I started jogging 2-4 miles 5 days a week! (The first 30lbs of weight loss was 2 years ago)

When I finally decided to lose the last 20lbs (about a year ago), I got back on the jogging wagon, and wound up training for a half marathon! I was running 30-40 miles a week! Now I’m 17.5 weeks pregnant, and still running about 20 miles a week (3 days), and two days a week on the elliptical!

Congrats!!  I dropped a size in 3 weeks by cutting out refined carbs, grains, alcohol, legumes, dairy and sugar.  I’ve been eating a ton of veggies, some grilled meat, eggs and seafood, fruit and nuts.  I sleep better and have more energy too.

@canuckandakiwi:  Oh yea!  Alcohol is a big one!

I have NEVER gained weight in my middle/stomach area and since the FI moved in a year ago we almost always have a small nightcap and for the first time in my life I have lots of tummy pudge.  I cut out alcohol a couple of months ago and it’s gone.

Alcohol will do you in.
