“Last night’s entry of Logo’s What? documentary series focused on objectum sexuality, which describes humans with romantic feelings for inanimate objects.”
This video relates to another documentary called “Married to the Eiffel Tower” which can be seen in five parts on YouTube:
After watching the videos, I’m still not sure how to feel. I never want to judge anyone else’s sexuality, because I can only imagine how hard it must be to have these kinds of feelings and feel alone in the world. I have to say though, for someone who has never been exposed to this viewpoint, it’s really bizarre. There are women profiled who have had “romantic relationships” with a church organ, a bannister, a fence, a Monopoly board, an archery bow, the American flag, a drum set, the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the Berlin Wall, a covered bridge, a ferris wheel, another amusement park ride, the Empire State Building, the Twin Towers, etc, etc, etc.
There are some really uncomfortable scenes, like a woman having a sexual encounter with a theme park ride, a woman having a sexual encounter with the Eiffel Tower during daylight hours with tourists milling around (straddling a strut while wearing a skirt with nothing underneath), a woman getting into an argument with a docent at the Berlin Wall museum because she said that she went through similar tough experiences, etc.
I don’t understand why people are aroused by balloons, extreme pain, crush fetishes, etc. When it comes to sex, I can’t judge because I like – and have done – many weird things of my own. I don’t get the inanimate object one but to each their own.
“How do you fall in and out of love with a fucking bow. This just makes me think when women say they falling out of love. They are just talking bullshit. Its also easy to say an inanimate object loves you when it doesn’t fucking talk. If it could talk. It would probably say. “Bitch, You Be Crazy.””
Yeah… I’m totally judging these people and not feeling too bad about it.
@FutureWifeyV: There was a line in one of the videos that people who identify sexually like this believe in polygamy. There were two women both in love with the Berlin Wall for example, but apparently that was kosher.
