Or “stop being a diva”.
How can someone accuse me of taking them the wrong way when they’re saying things like that (and claiming that they’re being supportive)?
I’m stressed out because the veil-maker can’t give me an appointment with three weeks notice unless I take time off work and make a six hour round trip. I need to have my next dress fitting before I can order my veil and if I order it much after that fitting then it won’t arrive in time for the wedding. Yet my “friends” are telling me that I’m being unreasonable for stressing out.

Blast! I meant to post this in “Emotional”.

I moved it for you.
I don’t think that is unreasonable, it is just the real side of wedding timing. It is very stressful trying to get thing to line up so that everything is on time and as least intrusive into our lives as possible. They prob have not had to plan things like a wedding before or have forgotten what its like. Sorry they were not supportive, but the Hive is always here for you.

The ironic thing is that the two people who were saying those things are two recent brides and one of them was the biggest bridezilla I’d ever come across. I’ve actually been in tears about it.
I’m glad for the hive. It’s so supportive and lovely here!

I really don’t think you’re being demanding. Not having your veil in time for your wedding is a very real concern.
I’d say to just try and ignore their negativity. Best of luck!
