I did a subtle polka dot theme and everyone loved it! My cake had it on there, the invites had a polka dot ribbon and then some cocktail napkins and table runners on the head table. I got lots of comments! We also had our menus double as favors with chocolate menus :)
I was just at a wedding last weekend where the bride and groom had cute favors......they had big glass jars with cookies in them and the jars had state names on them (with the cookies shaped as the state) and the sign read "All the states we've lived in, please take a bag and enjoy!"
