I live 2 miles from the beach (I have for the last 10 years) and would never choose a beach theme for my wedding, haha. However, I would love a venue with picture windows that overlook the ocean 🙂

I grew up in FL and now live in CA… I’m still having a beach themed wedding.  I think you just choose the theme off of whatever shows your personality the most:)  What are you doing for your beach wedding?  I fell in love with our cake guy even more when he suggested placing our cupcakes in brown sugar that he will make look like sand and then make chocolate molded seashells for the tops of the cupcakes.  Very beachy and maybe a little bit cheesy but that’s me:)

hmmm i never thought about this.  I’ve lived near the beach my whole life and no I would not chose a beach theme.  However I would love a bar/farm type wedding.  grass is always greener?  or maybe more novel….

I think so. I live on a lake and very close to the ocean and I was totally against having my wedding on the lake or near any form of water.

But that being said I’ve been a horseback rider for 20 years and spent many, many nights at the barn. My orgiginal venue was a heritage farm with an old barn but that’s now fallen through.

Hrmmm interesting topic

Our theme really has nothing to do with things in our everyday lives but defintely reflects our personalities/likings

I think you’re theme can be whatever you want and even your venue doesn’t have to totally dictate it. =)

My fiance is a Glasgow Celtic fan (boo hiss!) and I am a Glasgow Rangers fan (we are thepeople!) so we mixed the team colours of blue and green to make turquoise!  Then we added white to contrast with the bright turquoise and silver to accent.

He’s wearing a grey kilt….See below for my rough idea of how I want it to look…

I don’t want a theme at all; what does that mean? 😉
