- Wedding: November 2010
I read this website daily, and get so many ideas (maybe too many, haha). I was hoping to get ideas on my wedding theme; more specifically I need help tying things together. A little background info first: I’m getting married November 2010 at a Catholic Church in Austin and then the reception is at the Salt Lick Pavilion. The Pavilion is a wonderful rustic, big building. So I was trying to keep my theme at a rustic, elegant feel. My colors are purple (eggplant), charcoal gray, and ivory. I want the inside to have cork escort cards, wine bottles as the table numbers, lots of candles, and a couple of Manzanita crystal trees (to also be used at the church). On the outside Salt Lick will provide cowboy boots that are full of wild flowers, which I was hoping to line the walk-way with. One of my BMs pointed out that the outside (more country due to the boots) and the inside (with wine and crystal trees) do not flow together.
So getting to the point….is there any way I can link the outside to the inside? Or does it matter? Or do I need to get rid of one, i.e. the boots or crystal trees?
Sorry for the long post! But any ideas would be most appreciated!
