I think you should aim for vintage 1890s. It sounds like that's what you're going for, and you already named some key decor that would really pull it together.
Vintage bows and pearls, I just can't think of a cute name for it.
Vintage glam! correction, Victorian glam!
What about an inspiration board to show to vendors to help? Try stylemepretty, they have sooo many! So does inspiredbride and 100layercake! Good luck :)
And to throw in some other ideas that may tie in--silhouettes? parasols? lace? I'm sure you've got tons of ideas!
Inspiration board was a great idea LaborofLove! Here it is:

So, we have a couple general themes for our wedding but we need to nail stuff down as we finalize details. Our colors are blush (lighttt pink) and champagne. I know for sure I want our wedding to be totally romantic, but NOT princessy. I also know I want a vintage feel... I just don't really know which decade. One of my dresses looks really victorian (the dress I'm wearing to the ceremony) and the other dress is fitted/almost trumpet like and reminds me of the 1920's... although I can't explain why. The ceremony is at a church that is covered in stone and has wood walls on the inside. The reception is at a historic southern Inn in a ballroom that looks really 1920's... to me... but I'm no expert. Our flowers are pink and cream roses and hydrangeas set in gold candelabras that we got on deep discount. There will be pearls string on fishing wire (for lack of a less redneck term) draped from the candellabras. The only consistent theme ideas I've applied so far are pearls and bows - two things I've always been obsessed with in my non-wedding life.
So, we need to nail down a decade probably because "generally old" could probably get confusing... and be weird.
Also, if any of y'all know how to articulate what it seems like I'm trying to accomplish or if you have any things to add, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks bees! :]
