I like your concept- I think the issue will be with working with all your ideas and making it appear vintagey.

-Love the glass bowls. I think it would be lovely if you ordered flowers in your colors (peaches with bright accents) to place inside of them. The glass bowls are slightly fancy- if you wanted to tone it down for a more casual feel mason jars and vintage glass bottles would look fantastic as well (possibly mix them in with the glass bowls?)

-I also think some simple votives would look amazing and add to the vintage feel.

– A large chalk board (think 7×7- you could make this fairly easily) with the seating chart written out could be a fairly neat touch (I see chalk boards in your inspiration)

The only thing I’m not fond of is the polka dots. I’ve seen them done well (like the tie in the inspiration board) and not so well. I’d limit the polka dots to clothing fabric like the tie or a pocket square- maybe your shoes- and choose colors that compliment or are part of your color scheme.

It’s going to be gorgeous regardless.

Are you having BMs? A dress like this would be adorable. Here is another good option.

I’m loving this one from Anthropologie too.

I’m loving these inspiration boards:

Hi Nola,

You seem to like “puffy” type flowers. Perhaps you would like to do peach colored carnations in the gorgeous clear vases you made. Then you can put your votives or tea candles around those, for the tables.  For the bouquets you could include some peach carnations, some deeper orange spray roses and maybe some white tulips? Then depending on your budget, you could do kissing balls with peach tissue paper or carnations (maybe with Orange and polka dot ribbon hangers) on the end aisle chairs. You could include orange/polka dots on invitations and fans? What do you think.  I like what you’ve chosen!  I think this will all come together very well!  🙂 Also, if you wanted to, you could use small glasses, and float tealights with flowers inside the glass-perhaps a white tulip? 🙂

I wouldn’t paint the crystal.  You risk it turning out badly.  As it is, with big poofy flowers inside (I actually like the carnation suggestion) and candles around, the glass will kind of disappear.

Your look seems a little more “homespun” – kind of an Anthropologie vibe.  The crystal is a little more ornate, but I think as long as you keep everything else festive and DIY-looking you’ll have a really pretty result!
