Seriously!!  I never understood how guys could be SOUND asleep while our minds are racing around like crazy.  I always toss and turn and huff and puff to “accidentally” wake him up so he knows I’m still mad, lol

@Lily_of_the_valley:  Haha, that’s exactly what I do! Fiance can go to sleep at the drop of a hat, and I’ll be up until well after midnight with my cranky pants on!

@Cory_loves_this_girl:  Awe -hugs-

I’m sure you will figure everything out in the morning. It sucks going to bed pissed (especially because they always seem to fall asleep fast while your up for hours) but just relax. You’ll be fine tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚

I would try ad start resolving thing before you go to bed though! Even if that means YOU breaking the ice. But I don’t know your situation so I don’t know if that even applies ๐Ÿ˜›

@Cory_loves_this_girl:  Dude I know exactly what you are talking about though. There have been multiple times me and my FI have gone to bed angry at each other because my FI is the same as yours. It’s so hard but there’s really nothing we can do about it!

What usually happens in my situation is that I text him in the middle of the day apologizing for whatever happened (because typically it’s MY fault, and I understand that) and he forgives me and we are fine and we make jokes about it later in the day.

Relationships can be difficult. You just need to find a rythmm to the madness. Does this happen a lot?

My DH hates when I “wait” until bedtime to bring up a topic that may result in an argument. I hate when we talk about something that ends up unexpectedly in anger when we go to bed and he can turn over and sleep while I steam. My mind just doesn’t work rationally at night lol. Sometimes I just get up and write it all down to get it off my chest. I may not let him read it but I can re-visit it in the daylight and think more clearly. My husband hates to fight or have any dischord between us, as do I, so no matter how angry we are it’s usually fixed quickly. We joke about focusing on the “we-ness” which is more important than our individual agendas.

@Cory_loves_this_girl:  Guys typically don’t like “solutions” especially when they are not the founder of the solution because it might make them less manly. It’s good that this doesn’t happen often. How do these situations usually get resolved? Do you go to him or does he go to you? Is it the next day or a week later?
