We finished our invites!!! I designed them myself using free fonts from DaFont.com and Publisher10. I’m so happy with the way they turned out. They have the fun, laid back feel we were going for. And yes, if you look closely we are having the bake off and we did include the phrase “Pitch-A-Tent”
The paper for the main invite and the information cards were actually purchased as a pack of 5X7 greeting cards, then I just cut them in half where the fold was after they were printed, like magic I had 50 – 2 page (5X7) sets with the envelopes for $6.00 when bought with a coupon from Joanns.
The RSVP post cards were made from the same magic trick. I found a set of smaller teal greeting cards on clearance at Micheals for $1.75 for a pack of 24. That means I got 48 post cards from one pack. For the address lable, I had enough of these 4 inch stickers on hand left over from a different project (originally bought from Planet Lable) and they worked out perfectly.
The bake off cards, I printed 10 on a 8.5X11 piece of card stock and hand cut them.
The bakers twine was bought super cheap as well from amazon (I plan to use the twine on my silverware rolls too).
They cost like $.20 each to make.
