oh EtP :(
Start experimenting... does it look better if you blow dry it? straighten it? gel it? tease it? pull real hard on it?
if it's really terrible, you could always slap a top hat on 'im, hehe... how formal did you say your wedding is?
okay, joking aside, I'm so sorry to hear that there's been another snafu just before the wedding :( I'm not sure what real advice to give (okay, besides the first few options above - you might be surprised what your flat iron can do for him), but know I'm feeling for you!
You're almost to your wedding, and then honeymoon time!! You can make it girl!
daydream, you must be following my posts because you are always one of the first to chime in with helpful advice. I updated the other one about being depressed that day just for you, because I wanted you to know everything worked out and I'm not anymore :) Yay!
I'm still hella angry about this hair, but I'm slowly getting over it. Maybe it will grow a little more in six days? I feel like guys hair grows really fast! Other than that, you're right. Styling is our only option ... there's not much left to style though! It's practically a Marine Corps buzz.
My husband got his haircut 2 days before the wedding. His hair was quite long, but he thought it was probably best to get it cut for the wedding, and I agreed. My ONLY stipulation was that it not be cut TOO short. He is Asian, so the texture of his hair makes it stand really straight when it's too short so you can kind of see his scalp a bit and I HATE that. He didn't really want it that short either. We went to a salon to get it done while I was spray tanning. They called me back when they were halfway through and asked how it looked. To be honest, I HATED it. It looked like a haircut a kid would have. I didn't want to tell him though because if he liked it, I don't want to be all bridezilla and hurt his feelings. The lady asked if she should go a little shorter though, and we both said yes. But then, she did the only thing I asked her not to do, which was to make it too short to see the scalp. Sigh. $50 haircut gone to waste. It wasn't as bad as when she first showed me, but it was disappointing. Ooooh well. I still think he looked handsome on the wedding day even though his haircut could have been better! With a few days to go, your FI's hair might grow out some. The first couple of days always look the harshest. You'll think he looks great once he's all spiffied up though :)
Awe I am sorry that sucks!
And yes guys hair grows REALLY fast so I am sure it will look better in a week and maybe if there is some work to be done to even out the front with the back than he could go to a proper barber a couple days before the wedding!
Your in the home stretch!!!! YAY!
Growth is definitely much more noticeable on short hair. I would try not to worry about it too much, a week could definitely make a difference. And to be honest, even if it doesn't, you're not going to care about it anymore once you get to the wedding.
men's hair seems to grow extremely fast so i wouldn't be surprised if it grows out a bit in the next 6 days!! :)
My FI has to have his hair cut at least every 2 weeks (it grows very fast), so if Mr. Panda's hair grows like my FI's, he should be fine. But yes, I agree with daydream - mess around with it a little bit with some product (gel, etc) to see if you can make it any better. If not, you might take him to a salon to see if they have any ideas (he may not like this, but desperate times call for desperate measures!). Oh, and you might want to find him a better barber post-wedding (in my area they have all of these sports-themed barbers who are reasonably priced and do an awesome job). Good Luck! ... and regardless of what happens, just remember this. You are marrying the man you love, no matter what his silly hair looks like. :)

This makes me so mad! Why oh why did he trust WALMART to cut his hair right before the wedding??? And why oh why can the hair cutter people never take the simplest freakin instruction?! They cut his hair WAY TOO SHORT in the front, and I really don't like this look on him. All I keep thinking about is the 4k we spent on photography, and I feel bad making him feel worse about how it looks, but I can't stop myself! Ugh! What do I do? :(
