I have naturally long very thick stright hair. Volume isn't an issue for me all I have to do is wash and go and my hairs drys perfectly stright with just enough volume so that it does'nt look flat. I've been looking for hair insperation on the blogs that people write and it seems that either hair is all up or very curlly all over and my hair does not hold curls for poop. I do not intend on having a stylist come do my hair for the simple fact they always want to make me look like Sherlie temple wringlets as in the picture I have with the blue dress or they want to slick it all back so I look like a dang boy. I love my hair and I would not change it for the world, but because it like working with a horses tail it's very hard to do stuff with without looking over the top. I thought of just going to basic very trendy Jessica simpson wedding hair since it seems like it would be pretty easy, and not over the top, but I just know in my heart and dang curls I do will fall out. Any tips for stright very thick long hair.  I couldn't find any pics of my hair other than the one in the yellow LOL and I curled it and than brushed it out so it went wavy LOL. Any tips at all would be greatly appreciated

Are you going to be wearing a veil, and if so, what kind?

First things that come to mind are a sleek ponytail midway-up (not too high, not too low) or a chignon at the nape of the neck. With all that hair, your chignon would be really amazing.

any hairstyle, especially curls will hold better if your hair is a little dirty.  Don't wash your hair the day of the wedding, (or the hair trial), wash it the day before.  this way it wont look oily or dirty but it won't let the curls slip out either.

Do you want any kind of an updo? My hair doesn't hold curl at ALL either and so I went with more of a "pinned" updo, where my Aunt pinned up my head in loops and hid the ends. I love that I can upload pictures to illustrate what I am talking about!
