OMG I know!!! I have 65 days left fortunately, but still... SO much to do. On the plate for this weekend is to finish assembling the seed envelopes for our favors (we're doing little packets of wildflower seeds). Also, we're going to SF to buy FI's wedding ring (we already bought mine). Additionally, we need to purchase our plane tickets home for the wedding. Ummm, hello! We're getting married back on the east coast in two months, and as of now, we have no confirmed mode of transportation for getting there. It is definitely time to buy the tickets :-) ...oh, and don't get me started about the ceremony. We're writing ours ourself, and all we have so far is the sketchiest of outlines. Ugh.
I have 78 days to go and my weekends are seriously booking up in advance with wedding stuff that its crazy. I have 11 weeks pretty much to go and only 3 of those are with no things set in stone and I think thats going to be trying to catch up! :S
Today during my lunch break a meeting with my lighting guy. Next friday I have to have things organised for a vendor meeting with my DJ. I havent chosen anything in stone or have a layout just yet of how the wedding is going to go down. So i hope he doesnt want the final just yet.
skibobrown are you having a traditional service? or non traditional.
Ours is not too traditional and Ive written mine so if you want to see it you can. Might give you an idea to fill in the blanks.
@ ccranetobe - I feel you with the meetings, I have to have a sit-down with our venue co-ordinator, food and beverage manager, and chef to nail things down within the next 2 weeks (most of the big decisions are made, it is just fine-tuning service details and such). I need to get our song list to the DJ (major songs, must-play/no-play) in the next 2 weeks, as well as make and submit our floor plan to the venue co-ordinator (where the cake table, gift table, favour table (candy buffet), and wishing tree will go).
@ skibobrown - Our ceremony is non-traditional, and complied by me (from various sources), as nice as it would have been to do the entire thing from scratch ourselves, it made sense to me to borrow what was being said from here or there - if you want to see mine it is open to anyone as well!
Ugh - not to mention building wish trees, getting our boxes together with centerpiece items, finish the favour boxes, and buy the last of the candy for the candy buffet.
It will all get done - I have faith!!
I have something wedding related literally every weekend between now and the wedding.
lol - I'm like that too - we have something for the wedding almost every weekend now until the wedding. This weekend is FI's stag weekend (bachelor party) so he's just headed off. my hen party isn't for another 2 weeks.
I'm going to see my Mum this weekend (she's been in hospital but thankfully is getting better now), and we have lots of wedding stuff to go through - I want her to help me start the table planning!
we have a really big weekend in the middle of June where we have final meetings with our caterer, florist and DOC, plus registrar meeting for our ceremony and (this is FI's favourite) tasting for our cheese wedding cake
I had to write a timeline this week for our DOC, and it was quite a challenge!
@ VictoriaM - I feel you on the wedding timeline - I have been writing and re-writing our day of, and ceremony timelines for way longer than I care to think about, and little things keep popping up! Not to mention scheduling rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and manis and pedis the day before the wedding, when my parents, and bridal party are coming into town!
Wowza! I can't believe that we're already under the 60 day mark! Time is seriously flying by SO quickly. I'm ready though... So ready!
We've realized just how much we still have to get done before we head out for our wedding in California. We still need to get groomsman gifts, finish paying for our wedding bands, and then I just need to buy random stuff like shoes for my bridal shower dress and a color palate for my girls to use on the big day. Fun stuff!
It's all coming together though! I'm anxious to see the final product :] My bridal shower is at the end of June, then I'm home for 2 weeks and then back to California for my wedding week!
OMG i have 36 days a crazy amount of things to do! I cant wait for my bachlorette weekend in the end of June tho, everything is so soon!!

How are my July 2010 girls doing?
I can't believe how busy things are getting - this weekend I have a work bachelorette party, have to buy wedding shoes, order my wedding band, buy the guys shirts, and frames for table numbers. I also have my first official fitting for alterations and my bridal shower on Sunday EEPP!!
This week we also had our ceremony planning with our officiant, I got my wedding-day skin prep started, and my fiance's wedding ring came in.
What is on your guys' agenda for the weekend?
