Weddingbee boards

For all the bees who grew up in Iowa but moved out of state because of life.. what do you miss.

I like in Wichita, Kansas now.  I miss in no particular order:

• Hy-Vee
• Olde Main
• Taco John's
• The smell of sweet corn on a summer night
• Ames

I grew up in NJ and now live in  PA I didn't even know what AMES was till Icame here. Sometimes its hard to think about where I'm from, even thoough i love where i am now, sometimes I miss those little things too :)

@babylou:  My brother is going to school at Drake and it gives us a great excuse to get back and visit some of our favorite places and restaurants.  And now Trader Joe's.  We don't have one here and I love their freeze dried fruit so I always stock up when we get back!

I went to Iowa State and miss Ames all the time! It's such a huge change going back now with all the new buildings.  I was in the COD all the time and now the practice field next to it is gone and covered with a new building!

I miss West Street Deli like no one would know, so delicious and smells amazing just walking by! 

I'm going to a wedding there in September and it will be so fun to walk around campus again!

@alli:  West Street Deli.  So delicious.  My goal this year is to get back and go to a couple of football games and get to walk around campus.  I want to see all the changes they have made.   Iowa State campus is one of my favorite places on earth.  Of course I am a little biased.  :)
