We were talking about this at school today and was wondering what irks you all! Here are mine:

People who post every mundane activity that they are doing for the day

People who post pictures of unimpressive or undeserving food

    People who complain CONSTANTLY

People who share too much information or information that is not appropriate for social-networking

People who constantly threaten to delete their FBs and then never do...attention-seeking, much?

    UGH, let's hear yours!

I hate how suddenly the things I was silenty a "fan" of now are posting updates and little blurbs to clutter up my newsfeed. I try to hide them, or even "unlike" them (as the so-called facebook term is now) but it doesn't stick.

I also dislike how everyone posts stupid pictures and things and fb now seems like oldschool myspace.

I also dislike how no one uses Google+ even though it's cleaner and more streamlined.

I stopped using FB as much as I used to because it's amazing how much time I found I wasted on it. Same with Weddingbee, but at least I get meaningful opinions from you ladies. Too bad Weddingbee doesn't clean my house though.

I hate when people get into fights on FB, for the world to see, over status updates. I also hate when people start posting every personal emotion they have.

I hate how easy it is for people to share every single lame detail of their lives. "I'm sad", "I'm showering", "i'm breathing".. like we care.

I have many, but my least favorite is some vague cryptic post that suggests something is horribly wrong, and then when people ask about it the answer is "I don't even wanna talk about it."

Good, then don't post a fucking status.

Oversharing drives me crazy....yet for some reason I can't hide the updates of the worst oversharers.  It's sort of like a train wreck that you can't turn away from.

The games updates - I have blocked all of those updates on the computer but I can't figure out how to block them from FB on my iPod.  It drives me crazy having to scroll through a thousand Cafe World or whatever posts!

Apparently this new timeline thing that is coming in - it hasn't hit us here in Australia yet so I'm just waiting for it, but I have a feeling I am not going to be a fan.

The ones that are most fresh in my mind...

Pleas for donations for charity walks/runs/swims, and people who sell things promoting their products or advertising that they are hosting a demo.

Parents posting naked photos of their babies. First of all, your whole friends list doesn't need to see that. Secondly, no matter how private your account is, the internet is the internet. Those photos are out there forever.

Pregnancy updates to the point of TMI. It surprises me that a person could be comfortable with her entire FB friends list (including people who are simply acquaintances) knowing how bad her morning sickness is or how far dilated she is. I understand that she might want to share it with close friends, but create a custom privacy setting or something.

Posts complaining about Facebook or the changes Facebook makes.

My one friend/co-worker constantly posts statuses about her vacations for an entire two weeks before she leaves.  It never fails.

ETA: I should mention that she goes on a vacation at least every 2-3 months.

I hate it when people are passive aggressive.  Seriously, if you have a problem with someone, say something to them!

Ridiculous lovey-dovey posts are the worst.  Just tell your boyfriend/fiance/husband in person!  He's probably right next to you...

I really should delete some acquaintances, but so many people posting very detailed info about their upcoming weddings constantly...  a) your whole friends list isn't invited, and b) save some surprises for the ones who are!

I also hate it when people put a frowny face as their status and don't elaborate.  lol!  I guess that's just me being nosey.  I also don't like constant pregnancy updates.  Really?  I don't need to know that your ultrasound is in 3 days...2 days...1 day...4 hours...3 hours....UGH!

@Mrs.Lonestar:  Haha, exactly! The other day someone on my newsfeed posted a plate of scrambled eggs with a bottle of hot sauce next to it with a caption of something along the lines of "Breakfast today"...I was not impressed hahaha.

My sister also always says how she hates it when people post pictures of their Thanksgiving dinner, "we're all eating the same exact shit!" :)

@Iloveyourlovethemost:  HAHA!!! I think one I saw recently was a tiny blob of (unappetizing) mac and cheese on a giant plate and she said something like "I'm so lucky my BF makes me dinner"....right lol

It doesn't annoy me so much as make me laugh

People who post pictures of food.  Period.  Just pictures of food.  Who cares what you're eating or what you've made unless you're feeding it to me???

People who update their statuses more than twice a day.  Twitter exists for a reason.

people who post hints that they are preggo but than you ask them in person and they don't want to tell you because they would rather keep it a secret...really than don't post that stuff on FB we are not stupid we will figure it out.

Also ppl with kids who constantly are posting happy __ month birthday....my___ number of hrs in labor was so worth it ect ect ect.....celebrating their year or half a year birthday yeah i can see that...but after every month it gets old.

and ppl who are always lovey dovey with their SO on their pages...I find rather annoying...I mean maybe I can see it if you don't live together but really the public doesnt need to know...just text them.

I have an acquaintance on facebook that puts "is" infront of every status update, whether or not it requires an is.

    For example:

"[name].... is just found my favourite boots"

"[name].... is just drank a giant tea from Tim Horton's and now I have to pee"

"[name].... is just had the most delicious dinner"

It is such a pet peeve of mine!!

I also have one friend on there who posts a new picture of themselves every day - its essentially the same self portrait, in the same room, just a new one taken every day.

I really dislike the vague status updates, like, "Having the hardest day ever. Want to go home and cry." And then 20 people respond asking if the OP is OK, but the OP never clarifies anything. It just seems like drama-inciting to me.

@MissParrot:  I agree with you, as well as potty training/bodily function related posts regarding their babies, toddlers, etc. It's TMI IMO, but to each their own.

@KatyLovesJoey:  My FI has a friend like that who does the same thing!

HAHA! I love other people's responses. Anyone ever visited STFU Parents on Tumblr? I think it is quite eye-opening..

I have a rule for my facebook friends: if I were to see you in the grocery store and would actually stop and say hello, I keep you. If I would rush down another aisle to avoid you, not a keeper. So I don't see too many annoying statuses on my feed.

I agree with all the PP's, but wanted to second the lovey dovey posts. I don't mind if it is every so often and someone says things like, "My husband is a great guy." But when it's a whole paragraph and you post these almost everyday, it's too much. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

"I love my husband. We are both off work today, so we are going to enjoy the rest of the day at home together. He's my best friend. My favorite thing in the world to do is just sit together on the couch and talk. He makes me feel like I'm the smartest girl in the world, the only one who exists, and he's ALWAYS on my side even if I'm wrong. I love love love him."

@KatyElle:  AHHHH! My cousin did this today. She posted "So overwhelmed these past few days,, just coping.. that's all I can do with these circumstances" and 15 people have asked her what's wrong and she finally replied with "I'm not ready to talk about it" WTF? I wanted to right, "but ya already did when you mentioned it here!!!!"

@KatyElle:  YES.  This one gets me.

My other one is when people post "hot" pictures of themselves as a way to fish for compliments.  It's usually the same bathroom self-portrait with a duck face.  I always want to write something like OMG, YOU LOOK AWFUL!!!! just to throw them through a loop.

The one that gets me is when people post status about how they are deleting friends, and you need to like or comment to stay a friend. I have one person that does this at least once a week, I haven't liked or commented yet, and still on her list. Delete me already!
