I’ve heard stories from brides who forgot specific items when packing up for their wedding days and had to have someone buy something or put something together at the last minute, which made their day very stressful If you have stories of forgotten items or have ‘light-bulb’ moments when making your day-of checklist of things to bring that I may have left off of mine, please let us know so we can add to our own lists! I’m creating a list now (both for my fiance & I) and it seems to grow longer everyday and would like to make sure I’m not forgetting anything!
Thanks a million!!

The only item I forgot was a pashmina to keep me warm. I ended up borrowing my mom’s sweater and it was ok. If you are getting married in a place with access to stores, then I would designate someone to be the “Oh crap we forgot…” person. Make sure they get ready early and have access to a car and knowledge of the area. Then if you do forget someone, or more likely something comes up you didn’t anticipate, they can run and get what you need. It is probably less stressful than trying to plan for every possible scenario.

OMG. I forgot a lot of things. I was so flighty that day. I saw make a list and give it to a BM or relative to make sure you got everything that day. I forgot where I set down out marriage license. Found it in the trunk of the car 🙂 I also forgot to throw my garter. Other little things I forgot were things for that night at the hotel we were staying at like a case for my contact lenses, etc.
