So it turns out Dh requested the 20th off, which is a Sunday. I'm leaving for a conference at 8am or so on Monday and I'm struggling with ideas for our anniversary. I haven't lived here long enough to really know where to go/what to do. Any romantic ideas?

Hmm, what exactly are you looking for?  A romantic dinner place?  Something to do during the day?  One of my favorite things to do on a great summer night is get dinner at the Boathouse in Forest Park and then rent a paddle boat for a couple of hours.  Or go to Lafayette Park and get dinner at Sqwires (yum!) and drinks and dessert at the Chocolate Bar (double yum!!).  Or spend the day being a tourist and go to the zoo or Grant's Farm or the Arch or the City Museum.  Do any of those sound good?  Or are you looking for something more specific?

Get a room at a hotel downtown and pretend you're honeymooning!

Why not go to a winery? I don't know how romantic that is but they're always fun and theres tons around! Other than that I got nothing :/

Yeah, something to do during the day....Sqwires is a good idea for dinner, so is the chocolate bar! Definitely romantic =]. Not sure if we're into touristy stuff, though...hmmm.

And a winery woudl be fun but i'm going to a wedding the night before and I don't think drinking on a Sunday would fly for us. Plus i'm leaving for a conference Monday morning, which makes staying at home ideal (we live so close to the airport).

I dunno. =\. If i lived in Cali still I'd just say, "let's go to the beach!" =(
