So I was thinking about this topic in another conversation and I believe that you are your kid’s number 1 role model, so what things are you currently working on and/or plan on instilling in your children. It could be something you grew up with and value or something you realize you were jiped of and want to start anew.
I will start…
I want my children to have healthy eating habits- which I struggle with.
I want to be more affectionate with my children than my parents were/are.
I want to always be financially secure, which I was lucky enough to have my entire childhood, while understanding the value of money and not feel entiltled- which I struggle with.
I want to be less critical and listen more to their feelings.

I want to have more patience, something I struggle with (When I was a toddler teacher, I definitely yelled too much, not that any of them listened or cared!)
I’ve never found enjoyment in any work aside from childcare, but I want my kids to have drive and career options! They can be doctors or lawyers or the next president!

I, too, grew up with unhealthy eating habits (dang Midwestern cooking). I want to teach my children to be healthy. At that same token, I want to be less critical of myself (i.e. saying “I feel so fat” or “I look too fat in this”). I’m having a daughter and want her to radiate with confidence.

My mother never tells me she loves me and finds it hard to show any affection. I’ve made sure to not make this mistake I tell my boys many times everyday.
The one thing I really wish I could change about myself is my quick temper. Ahh it even drives me insane:(
