With eng. ring
So hear is the deal hubby to be told me to go have a custom ring done gave me a set limit of $1,600 . I brought a picture to the jeweler of what I wanted to have made but with bigger stones . I don’t have the heart to tecut hubby to be I don’t like thE ring .
What do you Bees think of it ?

Sorry I’m confused, do you not like the wedding band or the engagement ring?

@FortiesFlare: I think she doesn’t like the ring. the capitalization on the last part made it look like the E-ring, but it was really written as “I don’t like thE ring”
would it cost a lot more to have the jeweler tweak it somehow to make it something you love? I think it would look good to have the diamonds all set together in a row of 5 diamonds instead of spaced out like you have it.
somethhing like this?

It’s definitely a unique design. Can you work with the jeweler to fix it in some way? Is there a return period? Can you maybe use your own money to fix it?

What is it about the ring that you don’t like? Did the jeweler not make it the way you wanted?

The band on its own is fine and I think it would look good next to a solitaire, but with the three-stone ring, there is too much going on.

same as the other pp’s, why do you hate the ring?? It is a beautiful ring!! Is it not what you expected? Is it too thick? Are the stones not close enough or to close together? Do you think after some time of adjusting you will fall in love??

I think it’s just fine. I’d wear it!

I think it looks like a beautiful set! It compliments your ering well!

@lilsweetie: Get it more like this but with a chevron shape so it rests nicely against the engagement ring.

@Marbut4613: the semi artsy person in me doesn’t like the unbalance between the two. Something seems off to me and it might be because of the gaps between the stones look too wide when you put your e ring against it.

I like it. I think it looks great with your ering!

@Scar_cats_tic: The semi-artsy person in me agrees.
I vote to tell your husband, OP. I had a similiar situation with my e-ring then found out my husband didn’t like it that much, either! We switched up the band and it looks so much better now, especially with the wedding band I wanted. Not cheap, but worth it. Remember, you’ll be wearing it for the rest of your life!

For my own personal taste I am not a fan. The band seems too thick and looks a bit awkward to me.
