If you can, go for a laser printer!
Otherwise, purchase a really nice photo printer. They tend to be better about printing small details.
I know how you feel though... I have a little inkjet but what I really want is a laser printer and a Cricut for all those wedding DIYs!!
I have a Canon MP530 and I love it! She's an all in one but her printing is great! Our fonts are super simple, but everything she's ever printed is nice.
I second grumpybear's Canon recommendation! I have a Canon MP520 (like a MP530, but without a faz machine). It has an attached scanner that works great, it handles and paper size/thickness I've tried. It also has individual inks, so if you run out of blue ink you can just replace that colour without having to replace all the other colour cartridges. This saves a lot of money in the long run, especially when you're printing wedding stuff that will mostly be in one or two colours from your wedding colour scheme. I also like that I can buy my ink at Costco!

FI and I don't have a printer at home (any printing we need to do we're allowed to do at work) and I'm contemplating getting on because it would come in handy for a lot of the DIY projects I'd like to do.
Does anyone have any printer recs? We don't want to spend a ton, but want whatever we print to turn out nicely as well. TIA!
