Thinking about changing my dress… opinions please!

To be honest I absolutely love the first one. The second one… not so much. The first may be more flattering on you if you make it a sweetheart- I changed my ballgown into a sweetheart neckline and it was much more flattering on my body. Just a thought!

Also, I had several bridal dress consultants tell me that sleeves are less flattering for average size (and heavier) people.

With that said- these are just my opinions. go with your heart! If you feel better in the second dress, I would say go for it.

I LOVE the replacement. It is so unique and I know you would not go wrong with it provided that it was flattering and fit… Funny – My dress came in and I went off and picked it up. I have been having personal questions on whether I made the best choice – when I walked in the store I was shocked by the beautiful dresses and was so worried. Then I saw mine and fell in love again. I made the right choice. Go try on your current dress and then decide – but from your options listed above you will be soo beautiful on your wedding day!

Sounds like your heart is with the second one! Both are beautiful and I think would work great for a small, outdoor wedding, but just by reading your post I vote for #2 🙂

That second dress is gorgeous!!  I just love the pearl sleeves.  Definitely go with the second.

i really like the simplicity of the first one.i think it is beautiful. if you are stuck on the second perhaos you should look at a balero to add. maybe it will be enough to make you fall in love with it again.

I think the first one is much prettier and more flattering as well.

I LOVE the second. I got married in Colorado in june in a heavy polyester mikado ballgown and didn’t sweat too bad, so that sound be fine. Remember it’s cooler in the mountains. We got married outside at sunset, and it was probably 70 degrees?

I think the first is really pretty, and you could definitely add tulle or lace sleeves or an overlay of some sort. I’m sorry, but I don’t love the second one and I think the cut is rather awkward and potentially unflattering.
