Go to blogger or wordpress. Choose a pre-made template (it’s ok! You can work on a custom one later) then do an introductory post! Those two websites are the easiest for people starting new blogs. Hardly any effort required!

I would read yours!

@SoontobeMrsA: I would read yours too!! How to let people know – you can post your blog link on facebook or share it by email with friends and family. Also, visit other blogs and leave comments for them. The more you comment on other peopls blogs, the more comments you will get. My blog has only been on the interwebz for 3 months so I am still very new and dont have a lot of followers/readers just yet. The more often you post and about things other people will be interested in, the more traffic you will probably get!

Do you think youll do a wedding planning blog or just a life blog or specific type of blog (like food)?

@SoontobeMrsA: If you start a blog, will you still stay here? 🙁

@SoontobeMrsA: lol – some of the templates you can do different tabs – I still dont have all the nooks and crannies figured out but I have seen other blogs done like that!

@SoontobeMrsA: Unless you do a custom design you can’t really do seperate tabs, but you could always just have seperate blogs and link over to one another.

If you comment on other people’s blogs, they will click over to yours, that’s the best way to get followers. Also take advantage of the monthly “share your blog” post here on the bee. The one for February is stickied at the top right now!

@SoontobeMrsA: Usually with a blog the entries are all in the same section, but separated with tags. The tags are links, and you can click on them. For example, you would tag some of your posts “MICE” and when I click on that tag at the bottom of an entry, or search for it on your blog, all the other entries tagged MICE would also come up!

I’m a Newbie at Blogging still, and forget to do it sometimes, but I love using it as a “journal” for the Wedding Planning/Experiences! Best of Luck! =)
