There are usually independent companies that rent them out.  You could also ask the photographer or a wedding coordinator if they have any recommendations.

My friends paid about $1,000 for the one at their wedding a few months back.

I got mine from welovephotobooths.com and they were awesome!  Two of my friends later used them for their weddings.   They serve NY NJ and PA I believe.  I think it costs around $1200 now.

@marissal7901:  I booked through shutterbooth for my wedding. If you email them and let them know you’re on a budget they will work with you. Photobooth’s are really a luxery item. I’m paying $800 it includes 4 hours with an attendent, unlimited print out’s for guest with a custom designed photo layout with our names and wedding date, and a prop box. The photobooth can fit about 10 people.

@marissal7901:  We’re getting ours through our photographer but there are also tons of independent companies you can rent from.

Usually you provide your own props.

I got mine from classic photographers For $750 for 4 hours. It came with an attendant, unlimited printouts, props, a photo book for copies for us, and a USB drive with ALL the photos individually. It was amazing and I am beyond happy that I splurged for it (it cost more than my photographer even). Everyone raves about it still 🙂

I’m in Chicago, I paid $595 for mine, it’s only for 3 hours, but that timing works perfectly b/c the dancefloor will be open for 3 hours after dinner.  We saved $100 by not doing the guest book.  Figured we get a disk wtih all the photos on there anyways, so no need for a book with all the guests photos too!!  The thing that sold me on the company we chose was that they do unlimited print outs, so if there are 20 people in the pictures they will print out 20 strips so each person has a copy, not all companies offer that…

@marissal7901:  I just booked through Majestic Entertainment. I see you are in NJ as well. They were running a living social deal for $649 for 4 hours with props, attendant, etc. but I’m not sure if it’s over now. Definitely contact them and see if they will give you the deal – they have really good reviews and were very nice.

If not, I would suggest keeping an eye out for living social and groupon deals. There’s no way we would pay $1200 for it, but with the deal, that almost cuts that in half. No need to pay full price – there are always deals out there!

I’m in Texas and am going through a company here. 400 for 4 hours including set up and breakdown, an attendant,  unlimited prints for guests with our names and the wedding date, disc with all pictures, and props.

@marissal7901:  try gigmasters.com  — the DJ we hired for my works company party in Jan was $1495 for DJ, Photobooth AND uplighting.
