Nice, it seems like you are in the last part of your list, how exciting!, when are you sending your invites? Final dress fitting sounds fun. I hope everything works great for you! How is your dress? I have 5 months left, and I have to look for church music,fireworks,still deciding on centerpieces,shoes,veil,clutch,FI outfit,print invitations,makeup trial and appointmenta, shower and barchelott.
These boards have been quiet lately! Definitely means all our weddings are getting close & things are hectic! Lol, my shower is this weekend too! I can't wait. As far as wedding planning goes, I've got most of the big stuff done, I'm just waiting on my invitations to get done & back to me so I can begin addressing them & get them out! I'm also finishing up purchasing all the little things (cake server, toasting flutes, etc) & then I'll be just about done! I'll be having my first fitting within the next few weeks also! I can't believe how close it's getting! 81 days :)

My passport came in yesterday. I was surprised that it only took about 2 weeks.
FH's ring came in last week!!!
My shower is next weekend. We are pretty much done with all of the planning. We are beginning to get the candy bar finished(buying supplies). I received my invitation sample and we are about to email the guest list so that they can be addressed. I have a lot of homework due this weekend so that is my focus right now.
nurselindsey: We're double date twins! Our weddings and shower dates are the same?! How crazy! :) I'm trying to decide about cake servers and stuff...my FI was laid off so we're trying to cut corners everywhere we can :/ Shoot I might just use a butter knife and the flutes in our cabinet! :P
trugem: Oh my FI's ring came in a week ago too, I'm so excited to see how it looks. When he was trying them on we kept giggling about how weird they looked on his hand :) I totally understand about the homework. I'm presenting a 2 year research project the first weekend in Nov. at a conference and my dog chewed up my USB drive...sooooo I get to re-type or recover everything from different places. It was all so nicely organized on the USB drive. Gah. Oh well. Poo happens.
I actually came up with a new (new to MY wedding anyway haha) idea for our wedding! We'd been going back and forth about whether we wanted to see each other to do pictures before and we always said "well...we'd like to not but there's no travel time to keep people occupied". Our church is across the street from our reception site. SO what we're going to do is have a hot cocoa and coffee table with a cookie bar, lots of homemade cookies for people to choose from and munch on while we take an hour to do bridal party and family pictures. I'm SO SO excited about this!
Nice idea to use cookies and hot cocoa to make photo time! I cannot believe your dog chomped the USB drive - I would have totally freaked out! It sounds like you all are really busy, getting lots done. Have fun at your upcoming showers!
We finally have our invitation drama under control, knock on wood something else doesn't come up. They are getting printed and should be assembled and done this Friday. Our envelopes are en route to our calligrapher. So completed invites should be in the mail on schedule! I am really excited to see the final product - I'll snap a pic and show you once I have them.
I have my first fitting scheduled, cake cutter/servers picked out and waiting to be engraved, bridal jewelry picked out, BM gifts picked out but still need to be ordered.
And yet, even though we have so much done, I cannot stop thinking of what we still have to do...and worried that I'm forgetting some major aspect of planning! I've have about 10 mini wedding meltdowns lately, the stress is starting to get to me...
We had our shower last Sunday! It was amazing and perfect and they TOTALLY surprised me! Today I mailed our invitations!
@kansas-I suggest putting a serving set on your registry! We got one on Sunday that is beautiful! We didn't register for it but I was stressing about it a few weeks ago because I forgot we had to get one.
Invites went in the mail today!!! I guess this is really happening!
My invites will go out next week and today I am heading to my bachelorette weekend! Reading this though has made me feel so much better because I was feeling way behind!
We still need a dj though and I will have my hair and makeup trial the morning of my shower 11/20/2010.
It is all starting to feel so real though!!

Just taking a couple of weeks at my parents place and have had the 2nd to last fitting for my dress (will all be done when I come back here in December) and it is looking great! So exciting.
This time of year is really busy because I am finishing off my teacher-training at the moment (will be all done this time next month) - getting local invites out next week (sent international ones a month ago) - exciting! Although had to re-do the outside as discovered (thanks MuM!) the monogram on the outside of the (pocketfold) invite had 15 Jan 2010 on it instead of 15 Jan 2011! What a muppet! I was so annoyed at myself (but all fixed now)

this has been the most fun month so far! i love that we are all finalizing things and starting to feel like *real brides* haha. i can't believe we are all counting weeks now, not months. 12 weeks and two days :)
@bohemian- crazy: we share a wedding date, shower date, and hair/makeup trial date :) it's nice knowing there's another bride going through milestones with me
it has been a busy fall! we're just about done planning. last weekend was my bachelorette party which was a BLAST, and had both of my bridal showers in september.
in the last two weeks i have:
- had my tasting & finalized our menu
- met with the florist & finalized our bouquets, decor & flowers
- ordered my veil
- made an appointment for my first fitting in december
we just have to get our invitations stuffed & mailed, hopefully by november 1st. in other news, my fiance returns from his 6 month deployment in 29 DAYS!!!!!!!!

I feel like I have been spending a lot of time looking for stuff Id want at my wedding but not actually buying it, leaving me scrounging for a plan B.
Cake topper was ordered yesterday,
servers are engraved,
boutinieers are 1/2 way done and so far they make me wanna toss them in the trash for not cooperating,
our caterer is booked, still deciding on a menu though.
We still need TONS of fabric, our flower girl and jr bridesmaid dresses,
any coverage options for our strapless BM dresses,
our cake still needs A LOT of payments, thanks to my flavor choices jacking up the bill,
we still need to get a price from the photographer (which is driving me nuts!)
our "engagement" photos for the invites, including ORDERING the invites...
Amongst a ton of other things!! 
Only 3 months left and the list is never ending...
Our days are really creeping up! And that's SO exciting!! My shower is this weekend as well! Kinda funny because my FMIL and my FFIL's cousin will be hosting it at my fiance's parents house (an hour away from me), so since we're kicking my fiance, his brother and his dad out, and since his grandma will be attending the shower as well, all the guys and his grandpa will be heading here to take care of their suit measurements. So it's just funny that I'm heading there, and they're heading here. :-)
Other than that, we've been working on invites and hopefully will have them out by next week. My engagement pictures will be back within the next week!!!! Then my dress should be in by mid November, the rest of my girls by December!!!
The one thing I don't have a good handle on is the ceremony, because we can't get in to meet with the pastor with his and our crazy schedules! No matter what we do, our schedules just don't jive, and it just sucks! So hopefully that will work out eventually...
I have been missing all my bees! i've been gone the past month dealing with moving! But I'm all moved into our new place!! Yay!! But now I feel REALLY behind on wedding stuff since I haven't done much since September! In fact, I had a mini-panic attack yesterday b/c I was so overwhelmed with all that is left to be done for the wedding! It really isn't tons but I feel so behind!
Invites are all addressed and just need to be sealed before I mail them out next week. I finished getting the last of all of my BM gifts. Still have to finish getting supplies for our DIY centerpieces, and pretty much just finalizing all of our stuff. Finalizing our menu, flowers, music, etc. That isn't tons, right? I can totally do it in 2.5 months... RIGHT!?!? Please? Maybe?
@TP to Bee: Congrats on the move! How's the new place? And yes, you can totally do it - 2.5 months is still a lot of time!
So here I am--starting a post on how quiet things are then I don't respond to it! Gah! HAHA! Sorry ladies--feeling crunch-time with my research. Almost finished with my presentation so I felt like I could take a WB break :D
It sounds like everyone is getting things going so well! I'm going to try and send our invites out next week. We got stamps today so I have no excuse NOT to send them! It's just getting everything DONE, that's the problem!
My shower was AMAZING yesterday. I had so many wonderful women in my life there and I got so many meaningful gifts. I hope everyone else had a great weekend! I know there were a couple of other showers. When is everyone having their bachelorette parties? Or are you??
@KansasPrincess11: So glad you had such a good time at your shower! We got back 5 RSVPs today! All yeses. My bach party is scheduled for 12/11. Not sure what we are doing yet but think it will be dinner and a bar afterwards. It's coming SO fast now. I have something every single weekend day from now until Thanksgiving! I have my hair trial on Saturday!
@Saeliz: Oh WOW!!! I saw a few of our month twins had already sent invites out, it makes me want to send them so I can get them back!!! :) I love that they were all "YES!"

After the bachelorette party this weekend I am not in the mood for doing stuff but have to keep the momementum up!
@Bellini: & @bohemianbailie: yeaa date triplets! Ok so I wanted to report that we have since received 15 RSVPs since sending them out last Wednesday! Only one "no" so far (fingers crossed for a few more because our venue will be tight with 200!)

Hello ladies! So I've been super busy with my research and final papers and presentations since I graduate in December. I checked the board today (yeah...totally taking a 'mental health day') to see what's been going on. Not much! What are you ladies up to? We finally got our invites printed and cut correctly (third time is the charm apparently!), I'll put them together this week while avoiding homework. I'll be ordering table cloths this week, starting to plan a cookie/hot cocoa bar instead of appetizers between the ceremony and reception so we'll have time for pictures. I'm really excited about it! :) My shower is this weekend, first fitting is the last Friday of the month then the second weekend in November is my bachelorette party. Anyone out there on the boards still??
