i’m 30 weeks + 2 days and the last few days ive been feeling absolutely exhausted! it came on really suddenly…. ten days ago i was at a doctors appointment telling my doctor how energetic and great i was feeling and then boom! im now forced to eat my words. its like being back in first tri again!
ive been sleeping more at night as well as taking afternoon naps but what i really want to do is hibernate until february. My DH just went to a christmas party without me as i just oculdnt find the energy to get off the bed.
i wasnt expecting to feel tired till a bit later on. anyone else?!

@newname_99: oh yes. Hit me at 32w. then I got really sick at 33w and just haven’t been the same since. I’m almost 37w and omg I can’t wait to not be pregnant anymore. Almost there- take your naps!

The second I hit week 30 I started feeling like a nap shortly after waking up every morning!

I felt great from about 16-30 weeks, and then it’s just slowly becoming more and more tiring. I’ll have to stand up for an hour at work and I feel like I’ve just run a marathon, but with none of the endorphins. And all I want to do is curl up around a body pillow and nap. I have no words of encouragement, just that at least it’ll be over soon. And the baby moves a lot more energetically now, so I guess that’s pretty cool.

I started noticing it creep in around 32 weeks. My levels of tiredness have been building since. I was really tired during the 1st trimester (and very thankful that I was on summer break from teaching). We ended up having a snow day on Friday, and I was so thankful because I was so exhausted! Never mind that we had just come off a long weekend for Thanksgiving (although, sometimes I think that adds to the stress).
I have two more weeks of work, then winter break. I am planning on going back for a few days before my due date (I will have about a week to go before my due date arrives), so I’m hoping I can hang in as long as possible!

I have been getting more tired as the weeks have gone by… I am 33 weeks now and I slept unitl 11 am this morning haha without an alarm I would be SOL!
I am okay with being tired, as long as the morning sickness doesnt come back! haha

Sadly the 3rd trimester tiredness was worse than the 1st for me last pregnancy. I’m at 20 weeks now for this one so we’ll see! The issue was for me, that I just couldn’t sleep as I was uncomfortable! So I needed more sleep, but couldn’t get it. Figure out what makes you comfy and do it!

I totally agree with you, I’m tired in the third trimester. Are you all sleeping through the night? Because of heartburn and the baby being so active, I am awake by 4 AM, not to mention getting up to pee all night. On our Babymoon last week I had to nap everyday which was not how I wanted to spend my time. Oh well, thankfully still had an awesome time but I’m really looking forward to meeting this baby and not being pregnant. Best wishes!

This describes me perfectly. As soon as I hit 32w I went from feeling magical to feeling exhausted and sore. I’m 35w today and really excited to get this girl out of me so I can feel better (not that I am not greatful to have her safe in my tummy!)

Enjoy this sleep while you can. Once baby gets here, you’ll miss it!
