Shows like Four Weddings (where girls have HUGE budgets), same thing for House Hunters (who actually has like a 1.5 million dollar budget for a house & then complain about carpet and wall colors?).

But I’m grateful I can watch these shows & I have cable!

I get annoyed that my education is so damn expensive, but I’m grateful that I’m even able to have an education, and a fiance who supports us while I pursue my doctorate.

I’m annoyed that my ferret chewed on my expensive purse, but I’m grateful that I have him in my life. I love the little bastard.

@Sunnyday278:  I like your outlook πŸ™‚

I am annoyed that pregnancy is uncomfortable and my body isn’t really MY body for a long time,

BUT I’m SOOOO thankful that I am pregnant, I am healthy, so far the baby is healthy.  I know a lot of people who would KILL for my fatigue, back pain, sleeplesness, and chubby ass if it meant they were having a baby of their own.

I’m annoyed that it took what seems like forever for DH to get around to paining the nursery, and I’m very annoyed that our ideas of green are vastly different,

BUT I know I’m lucky to have a supportive partner who is willing to put forth the effort to paint a whole room and wants to be productive and helpful and is excited to be having a baby at all.

There are so, so many more things that I am grateful for, but I’m at work (also thankful to have a job!) so I better get back to it πŸ™‚

That’s what gets through the day. I always tell myself the glass is half full and not half empty.

I am annoyed that even though DH and I make good money, the cost of living in our area is incredibly high, making it super difficult to buy a nice home that isn’t a million miles away from our workplace.

BUT I’m grateful that we both have jobs that pay well and have great benefits, and grateful that we can afford our own home at all.

@Sunnyday278:  My life is not perfect but I am wonderfully blessed. I am grateful for my loving family, I am grateful for clean sheets from doing laundry this weekend, I am grateful for having a job that I love, I am happy for heated seats in the car because its 30 degrees outside and I am happy for losing a few pounds without trying. Life is good! I am just so appreciative of the simple things right now.

@Sunnyday278:  Im annoyed by having to wake up at the butt crack of dawn to commute 30 minutes to work when its still dark out, and right now its freezing cold.

Im grateful though to have a job, a good one that pays well, a nice car to commute in (that my job allows me to afford), a warm puffy coat to keep me warm, boots to keep my feet dry and a hot coffee to enjoy to start my day off right πŸ™‚ these are all luxuries and im lucky to have em. Right down to the hot dunkin donuts coffee.

Annoyed but grateful… sounds like my life, lol!

I’m annoyed that my boss called me at 6 to tell me campus was closed (I work at a college) when I didn’t have to go in to work until 1, so I wasn’t even a little bit awake, BUT I’m thankful I have a job and that I get the day off!

I’m annoyed that it’s the middle of January in Alaska and temperatures should be between 10 to -20 degrees (or colder), but instead it’s 36 degrees and RAINING, turning my entire world into an ice rink (hence why my campus was closed, lol), BUT I’m glad it’s not -50 outside, like some years around this time, and that I have a huge 4×4 diesel truck with good tires that can easily handle this crap weather!

I’m annoyed that DH got me hooked on Call of Duty recently and I suck, but can’t stop playing, making me neglect cleaning the house, BUT I’m glad he took the time to get me interested in something he’s interested in, and patient enough to help me when I’m losing horribly.

LOL, I could go on forever… πŸ™‚

My FI and pets can be annoying, but they’re the biggest blessings of my life.

I’m looking forward to having children to annoy the F out of me. πŸ™‚

@acciotoni:  im terrible at call of duty too. my son and FI only watch me play to giggle at the ridiculousness that is me trying to play a video game. My son suckers me into playing halo with him just so he can crack up because he finds me and kills me in like 2.5 seconds every time. He doesn’t even give me a chance that little beast!

@Sunnyday278:  I get iced coffee everyday (only hot coffee if its below 20 degrees outside lol). Im not brave enough to try adventurous things like that lol. I am a creature of habit!
