@lalalyanne:  Yes!  I am right there with you.  My motivation came to a dead halt right after we got back from our honeymoon.  I went to the gym a handful of times between then and the holidays, but I have already surpassed that this month.  It is so hard to get motivated after the holidays and any big life change, throw in cold nasty weather and it’s amazing any of us get out of bed at all! 😉

This is a great thread for us ladies to stay accountable.

I don’t know where you live but I know a lot of it has to do with the weather for me.  It’s cold, dark, and dreary in NJ.  By the time I get out of work, it’s pitch black out and I have no desire to do anything but go home.  I cover my excess baggage in leggings and long sweaters…but spring is around the corner!!  Not only that, I want to be lean and toned in my gown come November!!

Let’s motivate each other!!

I feel like I should have more motivation than I do. I still have a dress to fit into! I could use any suggestions on motivation you have, because so e days I just DGAF.

@lalalyanne: Yes! You can do it! I need this same kind of motivation, so I know how hard it can be, but you definitely got it in you 🙂

@lalalyanne:  HIGH FIVE!

I feel that way about my weight.  Wedding is in less than 3 weeks and I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been and my healthy/normal weight is a respectable 130lbs at 5’6. Now I’m at 160!   NOT THE WAY I WANTED TO REMEMBER MYSELF in wedding pics.

Oh well – I refuse to let myself off the hook with eating, lack of energy and willpower.  Time to get back on it!

Thanks for this post!

@lalalyanne: My mom, a friend and I just started Zumba a few weeks ago, and honestly, even though it’s crazy hard it’s so much fun! Have a great time 😀

@lalalyanne:  I know how you feel! I got to that moment about a few weeks ago, and went to my first Zumba class and started being careful about my diet and exercising a lot more. It’s showed results already! And Zumba is SO much fun! I wish there were more classes near where I am.

I’m trying to get motivated but I’m just so out-of-it right now… my FI and I try to go to the gym 4-5 times a week, and last night doing 30 mins of cardio felt like ever lasting hell.

When we were done he asked me, “don’t you feel better?” to which I negatively replied, “no. i feel like i’m going to puke, and i doubt it’s doing anything anyway.”

…I think my depression is coming back, so I’m trying to fight it with fitness, but it’s just not working. Sigh. I’ll hit-up the gym tonight too, to try and pound out another 30 mins of cardio, but I’m dreading it. 🙁 You guys are inspirational though!

On the Same boat here!

I’ve been in a funk and trying to get back to my training routine to no avail. Last week I finally had enough. Went to see my sports nutritionist, hammered out a plan and started training right there. Once I started it’s been ok and sort of on the easy side to keep it up. Starting was what was a pain in the butt.

good luck ladies!
