Weddingbee boards

I just feel like I have gotten so much done, weddingwise.

I changed my mind from my Mom's lake house, and booked a venue that I actually love, which still fits the feel of what we were going for.  And it, are you ready?  $107.00.  That's it.  They supply the chairs and tables (which I actually like too, I went and peeked!)  And they said that since it's in the offseason, I won't have to worry about other events, or people on the grounds.  (It's on a golf-course.)  $107.00 for the whole freaking day.  SCORE.

FI and I picked a caterer, and booked him.  In talking to him, he said "Oh, hon, you don't want the buns I provide for a wedding, they're too big, and they'll be too messy.  Just go to Kroger, and buy theirs, they're cheaper, and they're still delicious, and they'll be just the right size."  A business tactic?  Probably.  But I like the way he works, especially in an industry that feels like they're trying to take every single penny I have.

We picked an invite design and ordered the paper (after looking at what feels like a million samples).  I'm tracking it and it'll be here tomorrow.

And soon, I'm going to make another cake sample, and hey, cake is always great!
