Micros!  Girl, you have a wealth of options.  I'm sending you pics now.  check these two out. And also go to www.blackweddings.com for some ideas from their hair gallery.

Also, we'll need to know if you're wearing a veil and what type or if you're wearing flowers.  Also, what does your gown look like.  You should take that into consideration when styling your hair.

Here is an updo that you can work with.  You can leave some of the wave out on the sides or in back.

Didn't one of the bees just post a bunch of braid hairstyles that she tried?  I think she ended up with a heart-shaped type bun.  Sorry, I can't remember who it was but maybe someone does...?

These are not micros, but you can do these same styles with micros

@hotchildinthecity - You're thinking of Mrs. Swan.  She has locs, not micros.  Micros are a lot smaller than locs.  However, wifey12222009, you can totally try some of Mrs. Swan's styles. They may work for you.

Thanks ladies for the pics! Sorry for the delay I went to get my my old braids taken out. So I am starting my beauty transition from an average women to the beautiful bride :)

@ 91011 the first pic at #6 is gorgeous! I was able to show the stylist while I was in the shop and the she really liked it too! I will be wearing a shoulder length veil. Here is a pic of my dress..

I had another style in mind that I saw on the boards, but after I went for my fitting my friend told me that with the collar from my dress the back will fall inside my bolero.

    Thanks again ladies!

@wifey...I am also wearing micro braids for my wedding. I took my kinky twists out and will be getting my hair braided tomorrow. (I need a couple weeks for the tightness to subside). I have a few styles in mind that I am going to be trying out next week. I will take pictures and post then.

Here is a pic I liked in the meantime.

Here are some of my inspiration pics. I am leaning towards a simple bun with flowers and a veil. Although I plan to add a "hump" in the top to give it some height.

@jamaica haha! I didnt think about the tightness I completely forgot about it! I was planning on getting my braids the day before my wedding not a good idea! :) This is really pretty and it will not go inside my collar. Are you doing straight or curly micros?

@wifey...my hair is natural and VERY thick and boy my braiders braid up ever centimeter of hair they can find...LOL. We are leaving for Jamaica on the 20th and I am getting my hair braided tomorrow. That will give me 2 weeks to massage my scalp to loosen those suckers up! LOL! I definitely wouldn't do it the day before...you will pass out before you finish pinning it up Laughing

I am doing wet N' wavy using human hair. I do wet n' wavy b/c the maintenance is easier but I am kicking around the idea of flatironing it for the actual ceremony so that my style will look more like one of my inspiration photos. It will only take a wash, some braid mousse, and a few cornrows to bring it back to it's curly glory. I use 24" braiding hair b/c I like big buns when I pin it up.
