    Good Morning!

It's Friday!!! Thank goodness!! I thought it would be cool to discuss the following:

    1. What time do you get up in the morning?

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

    1. 5:45am

    2. I'm out of bed within seconds of my alarm. On a side note - I often will wake up on my own (minutes prior to my alarm going off)... does anybody else do this?

    3. I'm out the door at 6:45. It takes me 25 minutes to shower, shave, get dress, and do my hair. I like to use the rest of the time to ENJOY my first cup of COFFEE!!! I also like to update my MP3 player before heading out the door!

    HAPPY FRIDAY BEES!

    1. 7am

    2. Can take me 10mins to get out of bed, so alarm will sound at 6.50am and I will hit the snooze button twice. Sometimes I will wake up minutes before alarm goes off.

    3. Takes me 45mins to get ready

    1. Depends on the day--wednesdays and fridays I get up at 5:30 a.m. EST(that's the earliest).  The rest fluctuates.

    2. I set three alarms (one across the room at 5:25 a.m., two on my cell at 5:30 and 5:35), I usually turn the third one off b/c I'm up at the second.

    3.  To shower and get dressed w/o blow drying my hair, it takes me 20 minutes. I'm at the door by 5:50 am to catch the bus to work--work starts at 6:30 am.

    LOL @ the Title.

If FH is working I get up at 3:30am (at 3:20 I can hear the grinder start on the coffee maker GOd bless the grind and brew), if he's not working then 6:00 with the boys for school.

Make breakfast for them and put lunches together while they all get ready.  Once they are all off to work/school, I start laundry and sit down and watch what ever show I missed last night because they all are watch a three year old UFC fight.  I get ready about an hour before I have to leave for work.

    1) 3:30/6:30

    2) There's a snooze button?

    3) About an hour and a pot of coffee.

My alarm goes off at 8am, I get out of bed around 10.30am, thus I hit the snooze button roughly 15 times each morning. Once i get up it takes me about 30 minutes to get ready, and that includes shower, hair, touch of makeup, breakfast and doing a wii fit body test. I then work 12-8 and go to bed around 1am.

This post makes me want to go back to bed!

    1.  Alarm goes at 6:55 (shower) or 7:05 (no shower)

    2. I actually get out of bed at 7:05 (shower) or 7:15 (no shower)...sometimes as late as 7:25

    3. I'm out the door at 7:40 if I'm walking to the bus, anytime between 7:45-7:50 if DH drives me (bless his heart...he doesn't even have to be out of bed til about 8:20...)

I do nothing at home except get ready for work - no OJ, no coffee, no cereal, no nothing - down the stairs, out the door!

    1. I get up about 7:00

    2. The alarm is set for 6:50 and I normally only hit snooze 1 time BUT a few times a week I might hit it 2 or 3 times to get those few extra minutes of sleep (OH HOW I LOVE SLEEP)

    3. I take roughly 30-45 mins depending on if I am doing my make up or not.

    1. Usually between 7:30-8. This morning I wanted to sleep to 8 but the cat would not. stop. SCRATCHING. at our bedroom door so I got up at 7:45.

    2. When I lived alone and got up earlier I was a total snooze-a-holic but now I have a FI and dog (and cats) that are all opposed to my sleeping so as soon as the alarm goes off everyone starts bugging me to get up. Hard to sleep anyways when you have a wet nose jabbing you in the forehead. Then there's the dog... (jk)

    3. Um... this is a two part answer lol. I work from home so on a normal day I get up, make coffee, make FI's lunch, make my breakfast, and sit down to eat while I read the 'bee. It takes me about 15 minutes from getting up to sitting down again. Then I just start working whenever I'm done w/ breakfast. But when I actually go out (meetings, court, if I have to go to the office later in the day), it'll take me about 30 minutes to shower, blowdry my hair, and put on some makeup.

    1. I always get up between 7 and 8 because I have to deal with my dog

    2. I usually press snooze at least once ;-)

    3. It takes me an hour to get ready which includes everything:

    • dealing/feeding the dog
    • feeding myself
    • Showering
    • Clothes
    • Hair/Make-up

(Not necessarily in that order ;-))

I still want to play even though I have a night job.  Smile

    1. I usually get up at 5pm (I go to bed around 10 or 11am, sometimes I get up at 3:30 or 4pm).

    2. I usually get up when my alarm goes off because I feel like I should be up anyway.  But I often get up a minute or two before my alarm on my own.

    3. I go in at midnight but it takes me about an hour to an hour and a half total to get everything ready to go, I just like to be up when my fiance gets home and to eat dinner with him.

    1. The first alarm goes off at 7:15.

    2. I hit snooze twice, which makes me get up at 7:25

    3. I'm out of the door by 8:00. Mornings are pretty low-maintenance for me, I just tend to move slowly, lol.

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?

I end up hitting the snooze button until at least 6:20-6:30!!

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

To get ready for work I take a shower, brush my teeth, iron my outfit, pack my lunch, take the dog out and feed our pets! It takes me anywhere from 15-35 minutes depending on what time I wake up! I have to be out the door by 7 so I can get to work by 7:30 every day!

    I'll join in!

    1. What time do you get up in the morning?

-My alarm is set for 6:46 (don't ask why...I tend to set my alarm for weird numbers like that)

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?

-Most of the time I can get out of bed right away, but I always hit the snooze button just in case and make sure I'm actually up before turning the alarm off!

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

-About an hour: I shower, eat breakfast while checking my e-mail and sometimes browsing on Weddingbee :) then I wake up FI, go brush my teeth, put on my makeup and get dressed.

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?
I hit the snooze button as many times as possible and get up at the very last possible minute I can get up without being late (read: I'm LAZY and not a morning person)

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?
Takes 35-40 minutes to shower, do hair/makeup, clothing, grab yogurt from fridge and some other snack – at work by 8:30am-ish.

    1. What time do you get up in the morning?

My alarm goes off at 6:17 (I dunno...)

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?

I hit snooze once and then am usually out of bed by 6:30. Then I head downstairs and iron an outfit for hubby, make our lunches, and sometimes squeeze a 25 min workout dvd in. That hasn't happened since we got home from the honeymoon, I'm just so freakin' tired in the morning!

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

I'm usually at work by 8, so maybe an hour? But that's because I'm waiting for the shower!

HAPPY FRIDAY TGIF..I miss those shows :(

    I wake up at 5:50am

It usually takes me 10 minutes to get out of bed; my biological clock wakes me up

I am ready in about 50 mins, and usually out the door by 6:50am

@7mom: Me too! I'd just moved to America as a teenager and those ABC shows were the ish. I really liked 'Boy Meets World'

    • Anyhow, I set my alarm for 6:25am.
    • I never hit snooze and when I stay over at my sister's we get into arguments because she keeps hitting it. Set your alarm for when you want to wake up dammit!
    • I'm out of the door at 6:30 to either go jogging or pop in an exercise video. I do that for an hour. Then take a shower and get dressed. Um, it takes me about 10 mins to shower and put on a dress (sometimes more if I have to wear makeup or style my hair which almost never happens). Get on the train. I'm at work at 8:30am!

    1) 6AM

    2) I hit snooze repeatedly for as long as humanly possible - I don't sleep well so mornings are brutal

    3) I throw myhair into a ponytail, maybe put my contacts in, throw my scrubs on, let the dog out, and bolt out the door - hopefully by 6:50-7ish. I'm usually running late :)

    1. What time do you get up in the morning?
    Between 8 and 8:15am

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?
I used to set my alarm for 7am, then turn it off until FI's alarm went off at 7:35, then hit snooze until 8:05 or so. Just recently we got rid of my alarm and set his for 7:55 so that we can have 2-3 snoozes pre getting up rather than 15 snoozes.

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

I am a super NON morning person. So I'm usually out the door in 15-20 min to walk to the subway and be at work by 9. I always shower at night so I don't have to in the morning. And right now we have 3 people (FI, FI's best friend, and I) sharing one bathroom. So it's already crowded with 2 people showering in the am. Especially when we all leave for work at the same time (an all of us are not good at waking up early).

    2. I'm anti snooze. I broke my husband of the 10-snooze-alarm habit. I would become physically violent if I had to listen to an alarm go off every 9 minutes!

    3. I'm out the door by 8:45AM. Have to stand in the cold to catch the train to work! (get to work 9:15-ish)

@crayfish: I used to be a non-snoozer. But in college my FI taught me to snooze. He was the KING of snoozing. Now I'm a champion snoozer and FI hates it now. I keep telling him it's his fault I snooze so much, but he doesn't buy it.

    2. Yes, I hit the snooze button.  It takes me about 15 minutes to actually drag myself out of bed.

    3. I'm ashamed to say - it takes me about an hour and a half to get ready - shower, blow dry and straighten my hair, put on make up, iron clothes, and get dressed.  However, I do also let the dogs out, lay out DH's clothes (before you judge me - he's color blind, so if I didn't , he'd be a hot mess!), and make coffee.  I like to take my time and not feel rushed.  Although, I still usually rush out the door.

    1. What time do you get up in the morning? between 7 and 7:30 depending on the day.

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button? depends, sometimes i hit the snooze button three times (7am days) sometimes i wake up on the first chime (7:30 am days) LOL

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day? if i shower the night before, i can be out the door in 15 minutes (wash face, brush teeth, get dressed, let dogs out, feed them, fill my coffee cup, and reset the coffee for the next am) i put a lil makeup on in the car to save time (:X); however on days i shower in the am, i need 45 minutes to dry my hair throwin into that list above.

    1. What time do you get up in the morning?

6:45am, FI gets up and showers first at 6am, so sometimes I wake up then (but never get out of bed!)

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?

FI gets out of the shower at 6:30 and I never get up before 6:45, luckily this means I don't need a snooze button :)

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

We leave at 8am. I eat breakfast and have a coffee after I shower. We also let the dog out and play with him for a bit! I really wish we could do these things faster so I could get up later, I am so not a morning person!

@Mr. Coffee: You SURE this post is about getting up in the morning?? Haha...

    1. What time do you get up in the morning? 6:30am

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button? It takes me FOREVER to get out of bed. My alarm goes off at 6...and I will snooze until the last possible second. Thank goodness for my husband who will literally drag me out of bed in the morning.

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day? I'm a curly haired gal, and washing my hair every day makes it dry. So, if I'm not washing my hair? 25 minutes...if I am, 45 minutes. I'm quick! I have to be out the door by 7am in order to make my train into the city and be at work by 8:30am. Yes...an hour and a half commute Cry

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

I walk out the door at 8:05am. So like 35 minutes?? I also have to wrangle my diva of a dog into her crate...so a lot of the time I'm late.

    2. Sometimes I wake up before the alarm goes off or I'm up right away.

    3. I'm out the door by 6:45 - Probably takes me 35 minutes to get ready and the rest is spent on taking the dog out pee, feeding the dog & cat, eating breakfast, and crating the dog.

These responses only apply to weekdays.  DH travels for work every week so it's just me during the work week and I don't have to worry about waking him with my snooze.  Weekends I usually sleep until 10 or 11am and I don't set an alarm.

    1. What time do you get up in the morning?

My alarm first goes off at 6:45am but I typically hit the snooze over and over until 7:15-7:20am.

    2. How long does it take you to get out of bed? Do you it the snooze button?

I spend 30 minutes or so hitting the snooze and then still drag my half-asleep self out of bed around 7:15-7:20am.  I'm really not a morning person.

    3. How long does it take to get ready for work/or the day?

I'm out the door by 7:45am so I spend around 30 minutes getting ready (taking the dog outside, getting dressed, etc).  I don't usually eat breakfast and I always shower at night to save time in the mornings.

@TealChocolate: I go from the city to Park Ridge - walking, buses, and trains... oh my!!! But I'm totally use to it; however, winters are pretty rough!!!

    Fun...

    1. The alarm rings at 7:33 (i'm weird about setting it on a 5 or 0).

    2. I usually get up right away, put my contacts in, brush my teeth and then get back in bed with DH for what we call 'morning smoogs', which is really just spooning i guess.  That's about 10 min or so.

    3. it takes me about 45 min to get ready and my hubs and I commute together so i spend most of the AM trying to hurry him up.  :0)

@Baileyh: I love your morning schedule... I would love to get back in bed and snuggle with Miss Coffee for a few minutes!!! It's not strange to shower before bed... I do that a lot. Gives me more time to enjoy my coffee in the morning... which of course, is super important!!!!
