I made the thread about typical rings, and how they are not unque no matter how much money you spend on it, but I made sure not to express what I thought a typical ring to be as to aviod a direct insult to someones ring.

If you start a post intentionally bashing something (eg a “typical ring”), the thread is bound to not go well. It’s against the Terms of Service after all…

I was not bashing peoples rings spefically, just saying some rings are not my kind of ring.
I see plenty of threads that talking about “This trend is over done. stop” or “these dresses are ugly” but nothing is done about those.

Just because you tried to be vague, does not mean you were not insulting. If “defending yourself” means posting private messages, then I disagree. I think the mods do a great job.
